I don't know if they put down your modem type but I do expect them to do a ping/internet test to check connection so they can compare it if/when you fill out a performance survey

While I played Guild Wars 1, a small 'bubble' in the bottom right of your screen told you your ping.

I suggest to most of you to play Guild Wars one, as the whole collection can't be too much, and you can get some story in and a taste from the original.

On another note, you have a Hall of Monuments, where, you get rewards to use in the next game! My account has like, 31/50 points.

Yogscast is doing each profession and aspects including WvW soon going in depth and total buscuit will be doing a TON of videos starting Monday or so.

Yeah, I'm mostly sticking to Yogscast and TotalBiscuit for videos. Both have good video quality, and Yogscast especially seems to do a good job at giving you a good taste of each class.

I actually just finished watching Yogscast's Necromancer spotlight, and it got me really thinking about making that my main. It kinda blew my mind that you can have all the pets out at once(though I wouldn't be surprised if that gets changed during beta). Now I'm stuck between Thief, Mesmer, AND Necromancer.

Well, to be fair, from what I saw the cooldown for the pet abilities only starts when the pets die, so it's not like you'd be able to have them all out constantly. But yeah, I expect it to be toned down. Stuff was going down pretty quickly with all the pets out.

I couldn't find the GW1 thread even though I searched for Guild Wars....

The Great Destroyer didn't give me nearly the amount of trouble that the Disc of Chaos did.

It also saddens me that the dervish skill Eternal Aura has been nerfed into a completely different skill. Doesn't even do the same thing! Avatar Lyssa was also changed into something completely different! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I am not a big MMO'er but I did have some fond memories of Guild Wars. I am considering Guild Wars 2 but got sick of following it for years and no release date.
