Fishing is also a good time waster at higher levels. Just running around trying to catch those rare drops or just doing the cooking and fishing dailies.

I'm being pulled back in... I almost bought a gamecard at my local gaming store yesterday... but I resisted... that time.

I probably will, it's just that my [censored] [censored] friends are all Alliance :banghead:

I might cry if they force me to play a [censored] Nelf

You could be a dorf... or a human, or gnome, or goat... and wait a few months and you can be a doggie.

BTW, what class are we talking about?

I guess, I have a mid-level Dwarf somewhere, I'll probably just get it to 55 quickly and make a DK.

I think I can play Alliance with a DK, I can live with that. ^^

You don't need an alliance at 55 to make a DK. As long as you have at least one character, horde or alliance you can make DKs on both faction.

By the way, if you're going to go tank, I'd suggest dorf. Dorf's have a really good tanking racial. I'm going to race change my paladin to a dorf.

I'm unsure of your meaning since the descriptive is censored but last I played Warlocks were generally OP in PvP. They were pretty standard with Mages in PvE raid damage over long fights.

That was about 6 months ago though.

I meant "crappy" lol

I quit in October and no one was a Warlock anymore. They were pretty much the crappiest class. Well, according to the WoW Warlock forums anyways. XD

Every class is crap according to that forum :P Warlocks do some ridiculously high damage compared to their gear. And they are extremely usefull in raids as they can summon and make soul/healthstones.

I'd do Skinning/Herbalism. Skinning is easy and makes you lots of gold. Herbalism is a bit harder, still makes you lots of gold, and also gives you a relatively powerful self-heal (starts at skill level 75 of the profession). I wouldn't do Cooking or Fishing (bleh, effort) but definitely do First Aid.

That's what I always do. I used Alchemy/Herbalism for a long time, but I just didn't find it that good. I could loot my own health pots, so it wasn't neccesary. I've been considering Skinning/Mining, as it seems to rack up more money than herbs. At least on the servers I play on.

Quick question: Do you still have to be Exalted with the Kurenai (sp.?) to get the talbuk mount? I remember I got one on my main back when they were rare to see, I was so proud of myself. :D Took about 6 days of grinding to get all the way to Exalted.

Yeah, I had it on my main as well.

I think it's impossible to get it with Halaa tokens now though seeing as no one world PvPs in Outland anymore.

But yeah, I got exalted on my Human pally. I also made a crapload of netherweave bags from the cloth that dropped from those ogres in Nagrand. The Laughing Skull ruins had the best droprate for the cloth and necklaces.

I too got the Talbuk on my human pally when it was quite a rare mount, Cobalt War Talbuk I think mine is.

I just finished putting the touches on my OS Holy gear today, I now have Prot, Ret and Holy gear that's good enough for most raids (Retribution gear being the best). That said, my Mage still seems the best for dishing out good damage. Still can't find a Maly group for my mage on my crappy server though, I want it for completions sake.

I can't choose between the titles on my pally either. Bloodsail Admiral or Champ of the froz wastes?

Halaa was so much fun. I would go on random bombing sprees every time the Horde took it. Good times.

Bloodsail Admiral. I always go for the most unique one, that less people have. I flaunt around my title of Private, just to show that I was around back at the start of the game. :D

EDIT: Hallelujah! My 2nd character is now on the Armory. About damn time it updated him to level 10, so that it could have a profile.

Hrm, damn. When I was creating my characters I just kept creating them in a New Player Realm. Guess I'll just have to start over on a new Realm-- luckily I didn't get too far.

I'm currently using the Bloodsail Admiral title on my DK as well, and my hunter is Bownage of Orgrimmar. :)

Speaking the private title, I saw a picture on wowbash (can't find it right now) of someone named "Private Parts" from the guild "Feels good in your mouth" Is it advlt? No, but it sure is funny. :P

Yeah, worst last name to ever have if you join the military: Parts. :P

I used to play, and sometimes wish I could go back. Its pretty Bipolar when it comes to me and WoW. Sometimes I really want to get back into it, and other times I'm just like "Yeah, not playing that ever again..." I was removed from the game because my parents wanted me to focus on school... school, LOL. Nah, JK, but I'm thinking when Summer rolls around, I might pick it up again, but I'm on a net book currently, and it'd be a pain to download it all and play it with this thing, and I'm not sure if it could support it. At least it has Windows 7 versus Vista.

Would it be a good idea to start playing WoW again when Cataclysm is released? I mean most of the map will be revamped and might be hard for questing but I think I'll manage.

I heard its going to be a leveling heyday. Literally leveling will receive a revive, and become more fun, or at least different. I'd recommend just making some new characters to cherish the old starter zones...

If I posted my dxdiag would anyone care to tell me if it was good enough to support WoW. I've downloaded almost nothing. So I still have lots of space.

That's the main focus of Cataclysm, to make levelling fresh and different, to make it like an entirely new experience. I'd say defiantely make a new character when cataclysm is released, I can't wait to make my goblin personally :)

Agreed. I think we should designate a server for the forumers to all make characters on, maybe take a vote on what kind of server. So that there's no advantage, we could make one that nobody has a character on.

I'm not a fan of the alliance but it'd be pretty cool to be a worgen. Or I'll just keep going with my undead warlock.
