Valid Complaint thread. Keep baseless complaints out.

1) General

2) Guild leaders should be able to view a list of radiant task types, and choose to do them personally or assign them to lower ranking guild members. If you later decide you don't want to do them you should be able to assign them to low ranking members of the guild. It'd make you feel like guild leader.

"What do you need?"
"I need you to do a contract"
"Which one?"

"I'll get right on it boss."

3) Not a complaint, more of a type of thing. It'd help you feel like you're actually the guild leader, right now the only faction that actually makes you feel like the guild leader is the College of WInterhold (IMO). The rest not so much.

1: Useless threads on the forums (General complaint)
2: I come here to get help with an in-game issue or just discuss the game in general, and I have people telling me how and what to post.
3: Who do you think you are?
Why does "Explain your reasoning and be constructive" offend so many people on this board? That's the real issue with the forums.

General

Followers could be generally more useful

Being able to tell a follower to sneak attack an enemy, attack from a distance or shoot at a hanging oil jar would make them much more useful in tactical situations. Hell when I take away all weapons except a bow and arrows on a follower and tell them to attack a dragon they still run around with only their fists 9 times out of 10.

general

lack of *good* allignment resolution to daedric quests

impact: good player quest interface gets littered with distastefull daedric quests,
and-or player accidentaly get involved in the quest with the purpose of doing some good (the abandoned house)

potential: always implement a good side quest, for example alligned with 9 divines

corollary:

evil players might wish for daedra to thwart do-gooder quests such as 9 divines quests
and otherwise makes the world miserable for everyone

They are called guidelines. You serious? Basic instructions offend you? Why YOU come here has no bearing on MY thread. I can make any thread I wish. You do not HAVE to post here at all.

The guidelines are in place to foster a discussion that will not degenerate into what has become the norm for this board regarding these types of topics. A 'your a dumb apologist' VS 'your a self entitled brat' thread. Trying to avoid that.

So thanks for your input, obviously you can break my guidelines if you want to. I am asking that you do not. It is called common courtesy. You may follow them or not. Your choice. Goodbye. :shakehead:

A lack of spell creation

I think more options in this game, especially for magic, could give a richer magic experience for anyone who wants it. It can also help role playing because it can allow you to make spells tailor made to your characters role playing necessities.

I hate how they tell me to go kill the rest of the storm cloaks, but I can never clear a camp b/c one is always invincible....wtf?!
If only this back in the good days when Nobody was invincible. I understand children but everyone worth killing or that needs to be killed is somehow quest related or something and can't be killed. Screw thier quest I want them dead!

Lack of actual RPG mechanics. Pretending is not roleplaying, the game must offer choices and allow one to build a character out of those choices, which the game will then recognize. It isn't impossible, Obsidian did it with fallout new vegas. The choices must also be meaningful, not like the choices within the game where nothing actually comes about when making a "decision."

Vets are not the only fans and even though I agree with your choices, to an extent, it is still baseless unless you give a reason why it would be good to have those things back in the game. Don't you think you sound like you believe you are entitled to something your not? The only ones that matter? Really? The other people playing the game do not matter at all? Not even a little?
More is always better we need options.
The Elder Scrolls used to have far more options, now we have less.
More is better and its more fun, more allows us to roleplay better.

We need spell creation, now.

Roaming werewolves.

Adds to the games monster variety and there is really no reason they are not randomly encountered. They are modeller, textured and have animations. All they need to do is place them in the leveled lists.

Level scaled loot/items.

One of the coolest aspects of Morrowind was venturing out into extremely dangerous areas of the world where someone of my level should not be, and barely making it back with a bunch of sweet loot which was there from the very beginning of the game. In Skyrim, having the higher tier weapons and armor become more common as you leveled up completely ruined the appeal of getting it.

At least it is not as bad as Oblivion though. Skyrim falls between the two. I would prefer hand placed items that can be obtained through immense effort but I doubt Bethesda is heading in a direction like that.
