The reason I say nay is because there are other things I would much rather see. Mounted combat, improved Werewolves, seasonal foliage, expanding the guild questlines, more clothes, armor, and weapons available to choose from, the ability to remove the look of enchantments from the weapons, an improved HUD and UI, all of these things are things that take precedents for me over a terrible looking Vampire Lord. I hate the look of it plain and simple.
Things I'd like to see improve Skyrim's Vampire:
Grotesque appearance like the Volkihar Vampires.
Permanent muffle effect as long as you're a vampire.
Increased rates of Health, Stamina, and Magicka regen the higher stage of vampirism you're at (at night).
Ability to turn into mist (similar to Become Ethereal)
Ability to walk on water at higher stages of vampirism.
Vampirism levels up the more you feed, not the reverse.
Or because they based it on the Vampire Lords from the Underworld franchise.
"all of these things are things that take precedents for me over a terrible looking Vampire Lord" What makes you think they can't work on all that at the same time? It's not like they're small company....
"Things I'd like to see improve Skyrim's Vampire"
1. If they change the look of vamps it should only be for the last stage. If they do it at the first then no one will talk to you and it will break your game. After playing Morrowind I can say that this is not the way to go.
2. Too OP. Plus we have a long lasting spell for that and enchantments for boots.
3. Agreed.
4. No that is a different clan of vamps in High Rock I believe. The devs have already borrowed too much from The Order. They don't need to take more stuff from other clans too. The Volkihar should be unique.
5. Walk on water? Again that's just an alteration spell that anyone could use. Why only add it for vamps and not everyone? Besides there is no lore stating that Volkihar can walk on water just because they're vamps.
6. Agreed. They need to differentiate The Order from the Volkihar.
