No. I would say most people feel this way. I miss having all seperate pieces. Both in terms of Clothing and Armor. Ho hum.....

No it is slightly annoying not being able to choose what you want to wear, having these "bodysuits" makes the clothes way too common in my opinion.

I loved the clothing options in Morrowind.

I don't miss it. I wouldn't complain if it came back nor would I complain if it stayed this way.

Well the only way to go shirtless is to just hang out in that little loin cloth that looks super gay. And everyone yells at you to put clothes on its irritating...

I remember reading somewhere that they had to make it this way because the Xbox and PS3 couldn't handle the high polygon count required by two-piece armors.

I don't really miss mismatched armor suits, either. Most people don't know why Bethesda implemented this idea in the first place. Pete sent a tweet last summer explaining why: it allows the game engine to focus on other things without slow-down or crashing (especially for consoles, of course). It allows NPC's and monsters to be seen on-screen from a greater distance. It allows better details far away, like clouds rolling way up in the mountains and stuff. A greater number of NPCs can be on-screen, etc.

Remember in Oblivion how structures and enemies would sometimes just pop on screen? If I had a choice between being able to see a bear from a quarter-mile away, or mismatched armor suits, I'm choosing to see the bear from a greater distance.

Their's at least one Fur armor that you can go shirtless in.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-item-Light-Fur-2.jpg and a couple that are almost shirtless. plus ragged trousers and I know their was something else...CRS moment.

I miss it. Armour completely svcks in unmodded Skyrim. Barely any variation.

I had the pop-up problem with mine in Oblivion and I do to a very small extent with Skyrim. It's anoying with a really heavy hitting enemy pop's up right infront of you.

Skyrim it's just dragon's dropping on my head once in a while.... Literally

I would have much preferred Morrowind's armor slot system. I loved being able to wear pauldrons with robes. Or only one pauldron. Or being able to actually CHOOSE the color of my shirt rather than have one already glued to my pants.

Really? You don't notice how you can see NPC's and monsters and little details like clouds and snow storms and forts and barrows from a much greater distance in Skyrim?

Seriously, play some Oblivion and then put in Skyrim. An NPC in Oblivion won't wind up on screen until it's not that far away from you. I'm gonna say maybe 50 feet. Also, look for Ayelid ruins that just "pop up" when they're maybe 100 feet in front of your character. Barrows and forts in Skyrim can be seen sometimes from (it seems) a mile or more away. In Skyrim, I'm able to fire arrows and fireballs at NPC's (and vice versa), even if they're way on the other side of a large river chasm. I wouldn't even be able to see these same NPC's in Oblivion from the same distance.

Pop-up was a fairly sizeable complaint in Oblivion, and Bethesda addressed this. I mean, mixing armor suits is nice and all. If I ever get the urge to do this I can always fire up Oblivion.

I dont care for now. They did what they could with an outdated hardware set (the xbox360). In my opinion they did an excellent job getting the most out of it.

Now in the future on next gen consoles I fully expect to see these things make a return. I want the multi piece armors as well as decent draw distances.

You can still mix and match armor for the person that implied you couldn't.

I don't have a problem with Chest being merged with Greaves/Pants because I notice a bunch of times in Oblivion where I had clothing not meshing correctly, where it would clip and not match up correctly. Skyrim has solved that problem by eliminating Greaves/Pants.
