Werewolf: Brain Damage - Sign Up

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 5:28 pm

History: Jack grew up in a military family and decided to go down the same route. However he didn't become a sailor like his father he trained every day and Joined the Marines. He became one of only 6 cadets to be accepted in his class. He went to school through the military who though he could make a good officer with some academic studies behind him. The nickname Slugger came from the fact that the Marines and the Royal Navy gave up their traditional game of Soccer to play baseball where he went 4-4 with a grand slam, whereupon his Commanding officer knowing that he needed a call sign called him Slugger and it stuck. He now answers more to his nickname than he does his real name.

Wows, never known a "British" person to ever call it "soccer", or play baseball.

Points and other.

Two more questions. Or, a question and a comment.
Judges, do they give one point to each player at the end of a round, as in everyone automatically gets a point at the end of a round. Or do they choose one person specifically to give a single point to. Or can they give a single point to any number of people they want.
Or will they be point barons and force the players into hard labor with their slanted point driven economy?

Does this do away with other roles?

Secondly, I am not sure if this is intended with the system, but it looks like anyone can track point allocation after a wolf has successfully been executed.

If I remember correctly, and unless someone buys a permanent channel, all pm's have to go through you first. Correct?
For the regulars.

Each judge gives a single point to a single player each day - they may only give one point in total each turn. And if the judges figure out a system for repressing the common man with their economic stranglehold then so be it. :P

This does indeed do away with other roles.

A dedicated player could indeed track points allocated from voting, yes. It wasn't something I had previously considered, but I can't see any way that it could affect the game negatively.

For this game, no PM's can be sent at all to other players unless communication channels are purchased.

Name: Charles Haze. "Dad"
Age: 21
Appearance: Fairly muscular, short, African American, bald and has gold tooth.
Occupation Gansta
General Personality He hates the law and all haters. He has a I don't give a [censored] personality and usually gives nicknames to people he does like. Easily aggregated, but keeps his cool under pressure.
Beliefs: He believes the only thing that matters is who has and who doesn't have a bullet in their head at the end of the day.
Strengths: He's tough, growing up in the ghetto nothing any can say can hurt him, he can also take some punches.
Weaknesses: Caring for others and his aim with a pistol.
History: Born into a fairly normal ghetto family. His mom was a [censored] his dad was a gangsta, and since he was a boy he became a gangsta he got the name "Dad" when he killed his dad one day.

Can I grab a couple more strengths and weaknesses please, and perhaps a slightly expanded 'personality' section?

Do you want us to open PM conversations with you?

Nah, I'm happy to do it when I send role PMs - thanks for the offer though.

Why post a meaningless post...when you've been meaningless for over 27 years?

if wolves require more then 1 point to kill someone, and judges can only give 1 point per day, does that mean it could take up to 2-3 days for a wolf to even kill someone after the initial death.

I am a bit confused. or is the point used to get an extra kill added on to the 1 person you can kill daily.

and if you are human, you would have to amass major points to protect someone.

Werewolf's been around before people here at BSF ever started playing it, bro.

Ok bro, I thought we just renamed mafia to werewolf and gah I can't remember who hosted the first game here? Some to do with sting or bite in his name.

Yeah, Werewolf's much older than we are (first hosted on BGSF by Sting Hurts Only Once) but the evidence-based form we play here came later, thanks to Steerpike, and remains, to my knowledge, fairly unique. Further innovations from a long line of hosts after that made the game even more distinct.

The wolves do not require any points to kill somebody. Are you thinking of the ability which wolves can purchase with points which allows them to bypass protection of a target?

You would only need 3 points to protect somebody, which is attainable in one or two turns.

Name: Theodore "Leaf Life" Smith
Age: 29
Appearance: Rainbow colored circle sunglasses, long brown hair, long brown beard, tie dye T-shirt, cargo shorts, sandals
Occupation: He is currently unemployed since I'm fairly certain that traveling around the US doing drugs isn't an occupation.
General Personality: He's a pretty nice guy, he sees violence as a last resort. He's generally pretty calm. People see him as a dirty hippy most time, but you know, they just don't understand. He is however a bit mixed up right now because of recent happenings and a former addiction which can make him irritable at times since he still hasn't really gotten over it.
Beliefs: He sees everything as an interconnecting web of beautiful life all leading back to the center of beautiful mother Earth. He is against war and violence in general, a very big environmentalist.
Strengths: He's actually a pretty good stylist (though you wouldn't believe it if you saw him).
He's played guitar all his life so he's good at that as well.
A fast runner.
Also a good cook.
Weaknesses: Not the most persuasive fellow.
Irritable from his former addiction.
Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Too unpredictable right now, one moment he's optimistic, the next, he's totally cynical.
History: Born to lower middle class family
Not smart, ashamed of himself
Started doing drugs in High School
Went away when he was 18 with some friends
Found himself traveling around the US and became addicted to 3 different drugs
Went to rehab
Finds himself trying to decide whether he should try to live a normal life again or not.

This is the best I could come up with in the spur of the moment, it's not very good but whatever.

Name: Leonard the Ace
Age: Most people put him in his early 30's but no one really knows his age
Appearance: He's 6' and wear's a black overcoat that ends at his knees, black broad rimmed hat, has a tail of hair that almost reaches to the ground, white shirt, black pants
Occupation: Highly renowned bounty hunter
Items on hand: 2 decks of playing cards (one's made of an unknown metal and each card is razor sharp, the other is just a worn deck of cards), a key card to his facility, the odd pair of shades that he has on 24/7 (this is in addition to the hat)
General Personality: The man's confident to the point of being overconfident, he's considered eccentric, he thrives under pressure, fairly pragmatic
Beliefs: he has been quoted saying: "It doesn't matter whether or not there is a supreme being or who rules over whom but when two or more people gather together, there will be conflict."
Strengths: his confidence, determination, keen senses, skill at martial arts
Weaknesses: his penchant for poker related puns, poor social skill, certain eccentric behaviors, his aloofness
History: Leonard is a highly skilled bounty hunter whose movements garner more attention than some of the criminals he's chased. His main weapon of choice is a deck of playing cards made some unknown metal that he throws with uncanny accuracy. He enjoys a good game of solitaire (and berates anyone who gets the technical name of the game (klondike) wrong). He came to the facility chasing some two-rate criminal (the criminal was guilty of a minor trespassing charge) and stayed on, though why is anyone's guess.

Occupation: Lawyer
General Personality: Very good speaker and convincing others due to his lawyer ability's. Looks down on the poor and seems to be a successful business man but is really a depressed mess.
