Cynicism in ignorant people. At least know what you're talking about, please.

The thought of someone turning out to be two-faced and just somehow screwing up something that involves me, just to get that satisfaction that they had me.

Meeting someone too optimistic. I'm not pessimistic, I'm a realist with optimistic ideals. I want stuff to go well, I just can't say things always will.

Choking and or suffocating on something DELICIOUS. Like if you ate a lot of caramel and it clogged your traqchea somehow. Sweet, but terrible death.

Ridiculous people. IE: Attentionwhors, otherwise known as Dramaqueens, I also dislike Personality Shapeshifters. Often two faced, they change their personality on a dime, as if casting a glove off and fastening a different one one to fit many situations.

There's an entire page or two in Moby dike equating falling into a tub of whale sperm and drowning to falling into a giant tree full of honey and suffocating. Thanks for reminding me about that.

OK. If you wanna be specific, sperm whale blubber. Still, it's actually called whale sperm. And now you have an indelible mental image burning in your skull.

CURSE YOU.

Wow, that trumps the post after yours. And that girl was not so much scary as just silly and annoying. Scary movies don't scare me. I laughed at Paranormal Activity.

The idea of getting slashed with a sword in the gut area freaks me out, I would rather be shot with a .44 than slashed. I wouldn't be able to stand seeing the guts and gore spill out (even though I'm made of steel of course). I have a friend who owns a katana and we were slashing some fruit up with it one day, he swings it and misses me by less than an inch. I threatened to make him eat it (the sword) if he did that again.

I love how in a thread about our fears, we devolve into a discussion about whale sperm. Our collective psychological profile is DEFINITELY [censored] up.

EDIT: Excuse me, sperm pertaining to whales that is actually semanceti.

I can switch subjects at the bottom of a hat. semanceti was called so because when the whalers cut open sperm whale heads, the oil reminded them of sperm.

On another note, why are so many people afraid of arthropods. I find some fetal anomalies to be far scarier.

I'm scared of spiders AND fetal anomalies. And fetuses grafted to spiders that have anomalies.

I should have stopped playing Doom 3.

Demonic possession, shark attack, spiders, clowns, scorpions, tornadoes, being in a car during rainstorms, old people driving, a few viruses, my father-in-law, dieing before my time (but its not a terribly huge fear as its always sort of there).

clowns

I feel your pain, man.
After seeing that kid in Poltergeist get the crap kicked out of him by a clown doll (saw it when I was too young), I am not ashamed to admit that I hate clowns. All of them.

We're afflicted by the same bad memory, I'm afraid. My fear comes from that scene as well -_-
