I was using a Daedric Armor, but since I′d prefer to enchant it the strongest way possible, I am currently using an Ebony Armor.

My mage doesn't wear armor. My "wet boy" favors the Nightingale armor.

Hmm, I wear whatever I think looks good on the character I'm playing at the time. Armor class makes no difference to me at all. But now having made over 9000 characters and wearing all the armor I turn to mods, so now my character looks like this. > http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m594/aggythefox/2012-02-13_00001.jpg

Both my warriors go with Daedric plate.
My Altmer mage uses Archmage robes that have been edited to use the mesh of ordinary black robes
My Thalmor character obviously uses Thalmor robes (with enchantments)
The two thiefs use whatever I feel like.

Vriddi uses Orcish, Hildi uses Scaled, Belladonna wears a dress, Griselda is in DB set, and Angharad wears Elven

Seperated at birth? My belladonna wears a dress too YEA!
My first orc just wore super enhanced deadric and it was too easy, gonna turn towards light armour on this playthrough and use a circlet instead of helmet so I can actually see my lovely ginger hair

Lots of people seem to go straight for the Daedric Armor the first chance they get.
Not me. My level 43 melee warrior is still wearing Hide armor.

Orcish armor enchanted (enchanted fortify health +20), Orcish Gauntlets (echanted two handed damage +20%), Ancient Helmet of the Unburned (loot, Fire Resist 40), Ebony Boots (loot, Fire Resist 50). If I know I'm going up against a dangerous frost enemy, I'll put on some steel cuffed boots with frost 30.

All enhanced to Legendary via smithing (90 + ~70% potions + ~70% enchants). More than enough to max out my armor, so until my enchanting gets a lot better, or I find better loot, no reason not to stick with it. If I do some daedric armor, it will go on my follower (Illia), since she doesn't have heavy armor perks.

Why 90% fire resist? Because Illia is packing twin firebalf staffs, and I have the steed stone blessing. Means I tend to reach enemies just about the same time the fireballs hit.

Pretty much Steel Plate for my heavy armor characters and leather for my light armor characters...except Zaknafein (Dunmer) wears Elven looted from the Thalmor he relentlessly hunts...

A mix of Ancient Shrouded and Guild Leader armour for my Dunmer, Nordic Steel Armour with Yngol's Helm for my Nord, my Breton mage veries greatly, mostly robes.
My Khajiit simply use Studded and Hide.

Tsun's armour, most detailed vanilla armour in the game, even looked good before the 2k texture pack. The pics don't show the near perfect reflection map in action either.

I have a question. I play on console, is it possible to get that helmet or Tsun's Armor without mods? I really want that helmet for my uber-Imperial Elite Gaurd I have in mind.

The armor of my characters varies wildly. My level 81 Nord trades off between Blades armor for heavy, Scale with Forsworn Gauntlets and a Circlet when going light, with Ancient Nord armor when feeling festive.

On my thief I use Nightingale except that I use a hood from a quest that has a 15% archery bonus because I didn't want or need the Illusion bonus of the Nightingale headgear.

My battlemage uses a combo of robes (Arch-Mage or Master Robe of Destruction), a Dragon Priest Mask, and legendary dragonscale gauntlets & boots.

The thief/assassin used a combo of Dark Brotherhood, Thieve's Guild, and Nightingale armors.

My Orc Warrior used leather and steel until he found enough Orcish armor to complete a full set and used that through the Civil War before I killed him.

My mage is just using robes.

Meh, never cared for Daedric whatsoever. My male toons use the full set of Leather Armor for light armor, and sometimes Steel Plate for heavy. My female toons use Ancient Nord all the way!
