What mods do you predict will made in the first months?

Post » Sun May 29, 2011 3:12 am

I can certainly appreciate them for the increased realism. I'm a big boy, seeing a briast isn't going to scar me for life - and moments like taking off somebody's clothing and seeing underwear where there used to be skin defenestrates immersion quite quickly. Just because nudity often isn't used tastefully doesn't mean it isn't.

Exactly. Although not annoying, I use body replacers for that exact reason. If I was a poor schmuck in the waste trying to get by, I'd strip anyone or anything of anything useful. That includes underwear. It's not that I sit behind my PC screaming WHOOOO. TITTEHS! or WHOOO [censored]! everytime I loot a body. In vanilla all I thought was: That's a perfectly good shirt/short/whatever that dead guy's wearing. Why am I not looting that as well? I know I would in real life if living in a wasteland. If not for using it myself, than for using it to repair my old clothers or as stuf to barter with.

Although I can understand all the anime stuff that's around, I don't like it. Stuff as bikini's or "female based" armors are pointless and just break immersion imho. I'm pretty picky about mods, but a body replacer would be one of the first things that will be made, and probably installed by me. I find it enhances immersion. All the prostitution and add six to the game mods, although probably nicely done and hard to do, don't.

But to each his own I guess.

I think we'll see it in this order...

Body replacers
Enhanced weather
Music replacers
texture packs
Darnified
20th Century
MMM
some massive clothing mods
That god-awful bug generator FOOK

From there who knows.

Well... seeing nvde bodies lying around after looting a raider camp does not really add to immersion IMO. Where in fallout would anyone need to get naked anyways?

Then install the versions that have underwear on them. You don't have to have nudity when you run body replacers. I run underwear on my male body replacers because I don't want to see random wangs strewn about the wasteland.

2.3 million nvde mods, alt housing mods, Combat enhancing mods, moar gunzz mods, ports of various mods that are actually good such as DARN, MMM, EVE, FWE, FOOK, weather etc. Then a ton of lingerie and prostitue mods, then mods that add furries to your pipboy (I saw this and cried a bit.) then a few mods that make it oh so much more "hardcoe" as if the hardcoe mode isnt going to be enough. xD

ALSO im calling it now, theres going to be a mod that allows you to go to the capital wasteland and its DLC's if you have them.

duno, prolly all the usual crap like 32"pistol that fires a mini-nuke or shotgun thats fires auto-lasers & stuff.

can tell yall that i been working on an area51 nod for f3 but now gona focus on nv. which is bad as i will take bets that area51 will be the 1st dlc out... leaves me this, i 1 man needs to work faster than the team they has working on it & make it better :P

ps: what mods would yall like to see :)

If anyone think there is a lot of anime/japanese stuff on fallout3nexus, just check out tesnexus... there's even more there.

There's more of everything on TESNexus. Oblivion's an older game, and the modding scene remains more popular than Fallout 3's modding scene ever was. Not that Fallout 3 modding was ever particularly unpopular, but Oblivion still has it beat. And of course, TESNexus also covers Morrowind mods, whereas Fallout: New Vegas mods will be on a new Nexus site.

In regards to nudity = realism, if you're that opposed to nudity it's not that hard to add underwear to all the outfits where the underwear would be exposed. There might be some clipping, which would detract from realism, but it's an option. Requires little more than basic knowledge of Nifskope.

ohh i think someone might try it but what you think of this mod idea.

fallout dc integrated into new vagas ;)

might be as simple as extracting the world space info & placeing it into nv, or someone team recreateing it all.

No, there won't be, unless no Fallout 3 assets are used.

There will probably be a mod that allows you to pick a perk for every level.

A mod that allows you to max out your character in some way (even if it's possible in vanilla).

And a level cap increaser.

And a "play after the end" mod.

well not that it'd happen right away, but a mod adding a S&W 500 magnum would rock

Fook:NV will be released, but I'm not sure about the first months. Hopefully they will bugtest a lot before releasing the first version. Anyway, body replacers are a given, and so is a new incarnation of the "animated prostitution" mod. Ridiculous.

Did anyone ever release a mod for FO3 that allowed you to see the damage (Hit points you were taking away) you were dealing fly off the enemy? You know, like Borderlands and most RPGs.

Thats one of the lil things I always enjoyed about RPGs. Lots of painful lil numbers.

M4 MOD! It looks bad right now, play infinitely after ending (this was a fallout 3 mod I had too, until BS), damage taken mod to make the game harder, slow motion mod (LOVED it in fallout 3), sprint mod (I think its essential for fallout), and the fps grenade hotkey mod (also essential)

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I hope that somehow the Big Guns skill will be restored. I don't know, Obsidian's choice to split it up is logical, but I just feel like I'll really miss having a character that specializes in overkill. Although I don't know if it's even possible to create new skills in the GECK. :nope:

I'm thinking a motorcycle mod that actually works. They've almost got one for FO3. But now they get one that doesn't skip on the animations, get stuck in the ground, has limited storage, uses fuel, takes damage, can be repaired, is drivable (not a fast travel enabler,) uses sounds that don't loop in 5 seconds, not put ridiculous weapons that have no place on a bike, and will be called "Highwayman's Handy Harley!"

As soon as FOSE/NVSE whatever is released, I fully expect Robco Certified and family, and http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14391 non-FWE.
