some more from my personal music collection that are fitting I would think considering they are cold war era songs all pertaining to nuclear attack in some form or the other.

I'm No Communist - Carson Robison - 1952
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMskjKZ4r4E

Thirteen Women - Bill Haley & His Comets - 1954
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjtduXIAkKo

I'm Gonna Dig Myself A Hole - Arthur Crudup - 1951
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEqaof7adgM

Radioactive Mama - Sheldon Allman - 1960
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQNwG6GTx6E

Hydrogen Bomb - Al Rex - 1959
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufJRPY6f4v0

Crawl Out Through The Fallout - Sheldon Allman - 1960 <----- Think this would be a great live performance song as well.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XPzICHxXoQ

Fallout Shelter Pop - Mike & Bernie Winters - 1961
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJFtTh0wvOY

Uranium Fever - Elton Britt - 1955
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ANI6oj8p2M

They're all great suggestions! :)

I would like to hear sinatra and the rat pack.
Obviously we'll be hearing Wayne Newton.

Anything that fits the scene and era.

BUT, it would be nice to see some new age music too.

I mean, people aren't going to stop playing music just because of a nuclear holocaust. There would be new bands playing new music and it would probably be pretty angry stuff, or maybe not.

I wish game developers really innovated games. Innovation is a dirty word these days.

Blue moon!
You saw me standin', alone.
Without a dream in my heart,
without a love of my own.
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for,
you heard me sayin' a prayer for,
someone I really could care for.

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper "please adore me"
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold

Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Buh buh BAAAAAh Buh

As I understand it, the Ambeint soundtrack isn't NEW, its a crefully remixed track of Fallout 3's natural ambience with Fallout 1 and 2's electronicish ambeince music. I'm curious as to how well this plays out.

There are all-new Inon Zur tracks, but there will also be some use of earlier Fallout music here and there. Please see http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1111298-mark-morgan/page__view__findpost__p__16300070com.

Whoops, I misread that. My apologies. I read it as they were mixing tracks. Thanks for correcting me :)

Custom soundtrack, i do not want to listen to any of this 50's music, but i understand most of you do and i don't want them to not include it, make all in-game music like that, but please have a custom radio.

if all the music is 50's stuff, i'll never turn the radio on. I want to listen to my techno/metal/rap and i dont care about the atmosphere, but i don't want it forced on others.

what are you on, 360/ps3/comp?
for 360 you can hook your MP3 player into the 2nd controller slot and listen to it that way
on comp you can mute the music ingame and pul up a website like projectplaylist or use the windows media player
for Ps3... no clue on that one nevr owned one, think itd be the same for 360.

another for PC wait till a mod comes out that adds a custom radion station like f3's IPIP mod.

Unfortunately the auto censor would likely prevent me from typing his name, and tricking it (how ever innocuous) is against the rules :P

[I certainly don't have a problem with this in Fallout, as they did have a sixties ~just a somewhat different one].

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR3K5uB-wMA Or this one too.

Another from the Nameless one

** Of course my true preference would be totally environmental ambient (like Mark Morgan did for the first two.)

See? You have the right attitude. You make sense. I, don't share your views, but you didn't just blunder in like a fool. For that, I thank you. :tops:

I agree with Kiebler

Oooo boy, Bethesda and Obsidian, please, if there even is a radio station to listen to, please keep the old music.

If you don't already, Hip Hooray by June Richmond would be a nice addition.

I'd hate to see a great thing like the Fallout series change into just another stupid game series that got way off track. :(

Please, let's stay with what made people love Fallout in the first place :fallout:
