None. I'm open-minded to trying everything. I will say though that I'm not a paticular fan of Bosmer. I'll still play them, but I don't share the love that I do for all the other races.

dunmer - ash svckers enslaved argonians and desurved to lose morrowind

altmer - have you payed any attention in skyrim at all? yea...thats why
Here we go again.:P

Argonians those Hist svckling lizards, could not have defeated Morrowind had the Red Mountain not devastated their land and broke their nation that is where the defeat of Morrowind stemmed from.

The Altmer are narcissistic and deeply conceitedx most of them not all I have one Mike mannered Altmer, anyways they are the Highborn after all, also not all of the Altmer are like the Thalmor heck their end game is to shatter the Mundas that does not mean all Altmer want the sane thing.

Dumner. They have come to represent some of the more disagreeable Morrowind fans.

There was a time if you put up a poll what game did horses better Morrowind would have won in a landslide. There were no horses in Morrowind

I never play Argonians or Khajit. As to all the hate against the Altmer, I have an alt Altmer mage and RP'ing him as an arrogant [censored].

For some reasons, if given the option, I don't like playing humans anymore.

In all my time in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim I have never really played much as an Orc, Redguard, Altmer, Khajiit, Bosmer, or Breton.

argonians managed to beat dagon's forces in the dead lands (that is the go-to card for any and all arguements about argonians' power :teehee: ) they could have easily taken morrowind if they had the mind to do it themselves (altmer got them stired up [according to a book which may or may not be true] and so they acted, blame the dominion for the timing)

I don't really refuse to play any race. My first two characters always are the beast races, after that I vary pretty often. I never played an orc or redguard though. But that is not refusal, I just went with something else. Maybe I should start one of those next...

Yeah, AFTER the Dunmer emancipated all of them. Do you understand the concept of kicking while down. Scaly tree licking jerks.

Sure they went and battled back Dagons forces. The Dunmer contained an evil being in Red Mountain for a thousand years. Which he was also down there with the Heart of Lorkan one of the most powerful oddities to ever grace Nirn with its presence without the Dunmer containing Dagoth Ur Black Marsh would have fell shortly after the devil if Red Mountain surfaced. Also the group of Argonians was led by their best warrior tribe. If they fell and the Hist burned Black Marsh would be at a horrible disadvantage. Then there was Morrowind at the height of its power with all of its great houses intact the three Tribunal. If Black Marsh tried to have invaded then it would have been a dark day for them.

Bretons. I hate them. They remind me of the French or Classical British. Snooty, dirty, smelly vagrants IMO.

Funny those are the only races I refuse to play. All 3 are just so damn generic.

same, i can be a human in every other game...

i made an altmer (after my khajiit thief) to side with the imperials for my second play.

Several hundred years have passed, so why haven't Dunmer retaken their homeland?......Maybe because they can't.

Honestly, I can't stand the Idea of Argonians or Dark Elves for this game. Neither have any real combat abilities. I mean don't get me wrong - I'm the kind of person who takes a Nord and turns her into a stealth-based archer who uses heavy armor and gets away with it, but it seems like too much of a hassle with either of those.

I wonder why? Maybe because its even more of a wasteland than it was before? On a par with the capital wasteland... that actualy sounds very cool...

3. Dumner- The most cruel race in Skyrim. I think they far outdo the Thalmor in terms of utter disregard and lack of pity for non-mer races, particularly the beast-races. I role-play either a Bosmer or Altmer whose life goal is to wipe them off the face of Nirn.
1. Bretons- Useless really.
2. Argonians- Got nothing against them, I just don't like the look.

kicking a person while they are down is perfectly acceptable if they deserve it :whistling:

@otheral good point, but the argonians could over-run the dunmer on the main-land easily enough even at the hight of dunmer power i would think, although getting to their little island might be a problem since it would be such an easily defendable place (covered with telvanni worms)

IN Oblivion I played mostly Dunmer characters, with one Nord, one Wood Elf. I've mostly played as a Nord in Skyrim, though my mage is a Breton. I tried an Altmer, but I relly didn't like the looks. Tried a Dumner, I just can't seem to make them look anything but haggered. Tried a Khajiit..ummm I just need to leave them alone, 2 hr's, starting over again and again. I'd have to play a pre-set with maybe a change in color or very slight changes.

I have nothing against any of the races. I'm just not happy with my creation of them.
