What race do you refuse to play? : V - Skyrim

Any race with pointy ears, fur or scales is a big NO for me!!.

On the flipside my favs have to Breton, Nords and Imperials as I really love playing an all out Mage build or as a battlemage!

Orcs- because they killed Boromir.

Bosmers- Adoring Fan. Nuff said...

Altmers- they stink :yuck:

It wasn't orcs who killed Boromir... they were Uruk-hai :stare:

I only play Dunmer (look badass), Nords or Orcs. I don't really like the beast races and bretons and imperials look too generic. Also, Altmers are trash for acting like they're the best.

I don't refuse to play anything....but have never played a beast race. I've tried but just can't do it.

Similarly I can't play as a male character. Again, tried it and just couldn't connect with him. :shrug:

I probably tried everything but the filthy dark elves. I prefer Argonians, Khajiit and Orcs.

Pointless racial powers? Histskin practically makes me unkillable while it's in effect. One of the best race powers IMO. No offense intended, of course. You just gotta admit it's better than nearly useless ones like Eye of the night. ^.^

On topic: I don't refuse to play any of them, but I find myself playing Khajiits and Orcs least of all the races. And I like cats. =p

I love Night Eye one of the best powers out there, especially with a sneak char, no offense intended of course

well it's usefull if you don't maximize the brighthness of your TV...
when sneaking if you use a torch or candlelight you get spotted, with night eye you remain invisible and you can use as much as you want, it's not limited to once a day.

No refusal on my part, just turn out that the first char I always play is a Nord, maybe because I am a Swede :cool:

. For this character I basically don't RP, I play as me.

My second character is usually a Khajiit assassin or a Dunmer mage. When done with that the next game is usually here, and I never get to the other races.

Might just be me, but that night vision hurts my eyes, and I never really needed it even though my brightness is not amped up.

Why all the hate for the Dunmer? Most races have kept slaves at some point in Tamrielic history. The Dunmer are the only ones to ban it on their own terms, and didn't need an Empire to make the decision for them.

Argonians- Humanoid reptile? Highly unlikely. They aren't even mammals.

Khajiits- Furry stigma

Actually, Argonians can and do briastfeed their young.
Whether they lay eggs or give live birth is dependant on climate, proximity to the Hist and general safety and well-being of the tribe.
They are not reptiles, have more in common with amphibians and as such you could say they are not wholly unlike the duck-billed platypus.

When i play a warrior type character i usually go with a male Nord or Imperial.

When i do an assassin i usually go with a female Breton or male Dunmer.

For a mage a female High Elf or Breton.

I don't touch Khajiit/Argonian, Redguard, Bosmer or Orc, don't like those races for a playing character.

I have played every race in the game at some point between Daggerfall and Skyrim so the answer to the question for me would be NONE.

All the races used to have their advantages and disadvantages. Now since all the races are pretty much the same there is no reason to use other races which leads to people most likely only using one race or maybe two the whole time they play the game.

Altmer, I hate high elves simple as that. They are always so up themselves and look like they have liver problems with all that yellowish face.
