What is the most dangerous enemy in your opinion?

The Arch level mages make quick work of just about everything short of someone with very high resistance to magic/specific element so they are high up there.

Ancient Dragons aren't to be taken lightly either.

The Master Volkihar vampires are pretty strong.

and occasionally forsworn briarhearts

The Berserker Briarhearts (Dual Wield) are extremely deadly at any level.

The Shaman Briarhearts are actually kind of harmless. They just can't put out the same faceroll damage fast enough.

Drauger Deathlord Rangers. Everything else is easy.

I play on Master, then they rag doll me and I die by the second arrow.

Ancient Dragons(they keep eating me when I get too close!) and Giants who skyrocket me into the skies. Epic deaths though.

Some of the Dragon Priests are also tough you know whats, especially when you encounter them at low level when you are mountain-hopping.
. And when you just fought a ancient dragon :/

Ice wraiths & bears get up my nose on a low level character, Bears for their obnoxiously loud noise & i can't hit an Ice wraith with my bow for love nor money.

I think we can all agree that http://images.uesp.net/e/e2/SR-concept-6877480531.jpg is the deadliest enemy in Skyrim.

Sadly, he doesn't appear in the game.

Can't be dragons or dragon priests since their are multiple things you can do to make them do almost no damage at all... even on master. I would say that that high tier falmer, draugr, and the duel wielding forsworn present a much harder fight.

If we're using number of followers killed as criteria, Falmer Shadowmasters.

Draugr deathlord......
In an open space their not that bad but in close quarters is where they shine. The fact that they have the unrelenting force shout is what makes them dangerous in tight spaces IMO, they really have no trouble bouncing you around a hallway then hacking you to death as you lay stunned. Then add the fact that they are made of stern stuff and bolster a good armory, just screams " YOUR GONNA DDDIIIIIIEEEE ". :ahhh:

For me its gotta be the Ebony Bow/Ebony Arrow wielding Draugr Deathlords... Those things tear my mage apart since i dont wear armor.

They also seem to be more resilient to magic than other enemies

Ancient dragons are easy when you get the right dragon-slaying fighting style (I use the wabbajack for all my dragons; it's powerful, long-range, doesn't rely on magicka, and it's one-handed so I can use the grand healing spell in my other hand. I also of course use dragonrend.).
