Something like http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Skynet from Fallout 2 would be cool. While I do like human and mutant followers, it is always interesting to have sentient machine following you around. Marcus would make an obviously good choice for a companion. I am also quite interested in this rumored former Enclave member that may be a follower.

Is that a purple people eater I see?

I, for one, would like Marcus and Dogmeat. Simple as that. It's too bad that Dogmeat doesn't seem to be in New Vegas.

I'd like a Securitron that's very much like RL-3 to be a companion. "There's nothing I love more than making some other poor b***ard die for his country."

Problem with Marcus is that he might end up overpowered like Fawkes, as long as there are drawbacks it would be fine though.

Marcus and unnamed canine companion. Maybe not Marcus depending on how much minigun ammo I have. He seems more like a lategame companion. Oh nvm, Minigun shares the same skill as guns, so Marcus should be just fine.

Marcus is cool enough to be overpowered with no drawbacks.

Yes, Skynet was apparantly a follower you could obtain in Fallout 2. Skynet was an AI in army depot that you could convince to join you and give it a robobrain body. Depending on which brain you gave it, Skynet would have varying degrees of usefulness.

Skynet is also a lazy play on Terminator

I want a White tiger that ate a Dog, named Dogmeat, and I want a Deathclaw named Daisy Nuke, and I want a former slave girl who's a little bundle of neurosis, and I want a druggie.

And together we will take over Vegas! (Buwhahwhahwhahwhahwha!!!)

A slave girl to follow me around and carry my stuff. And cook me dinner. Her skill bonus could be to making sandwiches and stuff. I would send her out ahead of me into mine fields to discover land mines :nuke: . Hehehe

So is it confirmed that you can only have one humanoid and one non-humanoid? Because I really want to have both Marcus AND Boone. I would pace myself to make it so I have them as more of a towards end-game type thing though.

I want a close assault/Heavy Weapons Guy I can lean on if I need. I want one sniper in my party, as well. Lastly, Dogmeat is pretty cool, so he's got a guaranteed spot. With the exception of the close assault/heavy weapons guy(As Marcus will likely have an absolutely abysmal Sneak skill due to being a super mutant), they must be capable of sneaking. While in Sneak mode they had best listen to the companion wheel settings I choose, I don't need my position being given away.

I suppose it's not too much to ask of the AI to not shoot me in the ass every other battle, either, is it? Fawkes was really bad about that. Big FF problem with him.
