Went to Riverwood with Ralof , listen to him talk to his sister , run away to the Bronken Fang Cave to be infected with Sanguinare Vampiris.

Spent ages tying to kill a guard with a mammoth

Picked some snowberries, talked to a hunter, then headed for Riverwood, but diverted to explore Embershard Mine. Then went to Riverwood, talked to Ralof and his sister. Visited the trader and started the Golden Claw quest.

Looted the bodies and any gear I saw lying around.

tried to kill hadvar, but he didnt die after so many times collapsing so I ran away back to helgen. Then ended up finding river wood again

The first thing my little Dunmer mage did was just stand there for a few minutes staring at the world around her, then wondering to herself what kind of plants grow in this land and wondering how different they were to what she normally works with she started picking any flower and shrub she saw along the path to riverwood.

She tried to keep pace with the man she followed out of that cave but oh the flowers everywhere! She was too busy picking flowers to help him fight the wolves, eventually she ended up in riverwood and was very excited to see the alchemy lab in the inn.

Yes, I have a slight obsession with picking every ingredient i can find and now I horde them in my house.

After that long cart ride I had to pee.

The first thing I did was start exploring. I found a bandit camp not far from where I started. Slayed some bandits, and looted their bodies. Then started making my way to Riverwood picking ingredents along the way and killing a wolf or two. Once in Riverwood I killed the first chicken I saw. As most of you already know at level one that did not end well for me. I got to start over at the point of escape. I forgot about rule one for TES games. Save often.

Has anyone else just run right out of the tutorial after the door unlocks? I did. And I haven't been back yet to see what went down.

I was in a room with Ralof. The one with Gunjor in it. I killed the Imperial and took the key. Then I took a sword and sliced Ralof with it. After about 30 minutes, I was already level 4, with a OneHanded skill of 35. THEN I unlocked the gate and continued. (Oh, BTW, this was my......like....17th character)
On my first character, I just followed everything as it was supposed to be.

I went straight into Bleak Falls Barrow after picking a standing stone.

Missed seeing Alduin flying away, picked a standing stone while enjoying the sights, tried to beat up a bunny for a sec (utterly failed of course), followed Ralof to his two friends and listen to them talk, confirmed my suspicions about Ralof being a dumb brainwashed idiot, chopped some wood and worked at the lumbermill for money and "to pay off my stay at Ralof's friends' house". After that, did the love triangle quest, which took me three in-game days because I really had to "roleplay" and figure out what they do while sneaking (never gonna do that idiocy again), and the golden claw quest, to finally head on to Whiterun.

Oh, and Ralof is STILL freeloading at his friends' house. What happened to rejoining the stormcloaks man?!
