In Oblivion where Detect Life was a timed spell i usually just stood by them until the effect disappeared from the bodies completely. If i was not busy making more bodies :hehe: In Fallout i did the same with heat vision

Nothing really in Skyrim, as Detect life is channeled alteration spell, so my assassin never uses it, and Aura Whisper lasts too short time.

I kill to many to make any kills really special... though I do loot for anything of value and retrieve my arrows from their skulls.

my (short-lived) vampire assassin left cloves of garlic on his marks in honor of his mentor whom he killed around 200 years ago, he had a horrible reaction to them, my mage leaves the area round the body frozen while the body remains intact (As much as a corpse can be, at least), and my beloved argonian assassin leaves only a single ruby to let anyone know he was even there (the ruby represents a dunmer eye since i cannot remove them in-game)

My assassin doesn't do anything after they're dead. But when I do have a target my style is to pull out a single dagger and slit their throat.

I am thinking about making an Argonian Unarmed Shadowscale. And for role-play I was thinking of making him pray like Thane from Mass Effect. Amonkira (Hircine). Lord of Hunters. Grant that my hands be steady, my aim be
true, and my feet swift. And should the worst come to pass, grant meforgiveness." And then after taking a life I'll pray to Arkay.

But I might scrap the idea of being a Shadowscale and just be an Unarmed Argonian.

If it has been a difficult foe then they earn the head jump. I jump up and down on their skulls shrieking with delight and screaming blood lust :)

I don't leave calling cards. Makes the assassin have a big head. Business and money.

I do prefer to slit their throats when I can. But if I can't, then I just shoot an arrow. Sometimes when I'm bored I shoot em in the knees for good measure.

You guys have me thinking though... about to start the Dark Brotherhood with a new character. Maybe I'll leave a calling card on just the contract kills...

maybe a death bell... symbolic perhaps. death tolled for them.

I like to hide bodies, but if there is no-where to hide the body, then I'll kill everyone within a square block... My character is super paranoid and very psychotic and as a result will go to extreme measures to make sure nobody saw him enter the area at the time of the murder. I have 111 murders on my character currently.
For instance in a certain wedding... I couldn't stay hidden... So I killed every single person attending...

wherever they die and in whatever position they die is how they stay but i make sure that the last shot of my bow assuming it takes multiple shots hits them where the brain stem connects to the spine.

Celebratory crouching. (As Bungie put it.)

I totally like putting bread and sweetrolls on big targets. No idea why.

Huh... I never thought about that. I've not done an assassin run yet, but when I do... I dunno, maybe I'll leave a charus egg on the body of each mark. There's plenty of them anyways.

Sweetrolls are the closest thing to cake, and I'm very fond of cake. And bread and cake fit together.

My assassins do nothing at all.

Well, except for stripping the victims naked, but that has more to do with an obsessive need to loot things.

Extra Extra! Read all about it! The latest victim of the Sweetroll Butcher found dead in Solitude!

*chuckles* Nice.. hadn't thought of that. Steal every sweetroll you can find and leave them at the scene propped up on the vic.

If anyone sends hired thugs after me then I loot the letter of instruction from them so I can find out whose bidding they're doing. That done I find that person, kill them and leave their letter on the body as a fair warning to others.

Pending the Assassin I am playing, I will leave a Daedra or Human heart on their chest. That is only the marks. Everybody else is just left.

If they are vile Thalmor scum. I strip em down and leave them naked in a pile by the road as an example to other Thalmor. Their "Execute" Artur at all costs was not well received.

I pride myself on being a great assassin, and take pleasure in the "kill" itself - as long as I'm not caught. If I'm caught, even if I can get away, I will reload the game and do it again - till I get it right lol.
