ummm who was marcus in F3?

A distant memory, or to put it another way Marcus was a possible companion in Fallout 2 and never appeared in any form in Fallout 3.

It won't be the real Marcus until the battle where, despite full ammo and a clear line of sight on three claim-jumpers, he switches to fists and waddles off to punch a dog in a tent.

While Marcus was awesome he was not very good at NOT shooting the PC or his other companions on accident

Purging of bullets would seem to indicate removing bullets.

I actually never had this problem. I made a good effort to stay well out of his way.

Well since I had first go I moved out of his way as well but Vic, John, Myron and Sulik were not as smart as I and became human smoothies.

Well, I usually don't take more than 2 companions with me, so I guess that's why.

I was a diplomatic character so I needed others to do the killing for me, and those knuckleheads rush towards packs of deathclaws when I'm in party of three.
So I decided to just max it all out and run with my own little wasteland gang, I called us "The Sponges".

Purging of bullets would seem to indicate removing bullets.

You could get a Doctor to purge Marcus of bullets in F2. He had a lot lodged in him.
"Taking him to Troy in Vault City will get him purged of all the spent rounds, which are then given to you. You get 20 7.62mm, 40 .44 magnum JHP, 40 .44 magnum FMJ, 50 5mm JHP, 10 .45 caliber, 24 10mm JHP, 50 .223 FMJ, and 20 9mm ball."

I hope Marcus has a special reaction if you talk to him while wearing the Armored Vault 13 Jumpsuit from the Gamestop preorder.Maybe he mistakes you for the Chosen One for a bit before realizing that you aren't. He is getting on in years.

Yeah, it's been posted on the Bethblog first. Someone here also noted that the screenshot had Marcus' eye color wrong and J.E. Sawyer, reading that post, notified it to the artists at Obsidian who fixed that.

I've never had the pleasure of playing Fallout 1 or 2 but from what I can Marcus seems to be a pretty awesome Super Mutant so I'll say I'm happy to see him make a return as a relic of Fallout's past. :tops:

Uh, his presence in Vegas has been known for some time now, and was introduced a while before this thread.

I'm pretty sure nobody is pissed that Marcus is back. If they are, they should be shunned by the world

Though, it made me mad that people didn't like his texture.. I think it's Great. ^_^
