What do you want in the next updates?

They should fix the ash piles. They should disappear, not stay on the land scape forever.

They should add in spell creation.

They should have your spells scale with your level.

They should fix the weapon racks, wall plaques, and dagger cases and armor displays.

They should fix the items, the items tend to explode not return to the place it was intended. I have things set up under a table and under the ground...

They should fix the things patch 1.2 messed up. Such as.

1. The magic resistance bug.

2. The dragons flying backwards.

3. The horrid draw distance and distant textures, the distant textures looked better and we had better draw distance post patch.

Ability to smith or fletch your own arrows.
Fix mannequin issues when it comes to revealing armor.
Ability to drop or use excess quest items, specifically Giant's toes. Why can't I use some of the 31 I have lol?

ETA:
Ability to rename potions, weapons, and apparel other than when you enchant it. If I take a Fortify Enchanting potion to increase my bow's usefullness, I would like to be able to rename it without cutting into the 30 seconds of effect that I have just used. I wish you could simply rename any items in your inventory that you can wear, use, or drink. I am tired of having to decipher between 7 different Gold Diamond necklaces haha.

In the interim Patch, due shortly, all I want is a fix for what was broken by 1.2. Namely:

1) Magical Resistances not being applied

2) Dragons flying around backwards, erratically, and becoming increasingly difficult to land a hit on.

For future patches I would like to see:

1) The layout and purchase combinations for furnishing houses seem to frequently break the ability to hang weapons and armour on walls, mountings and mannequins. Plaques and mountings have no interaction when empty. Mannequins can be interacted with, bringing up an inventory, but you cannot transfer any of your armour onto the inventory OF the mannequin. This happens to some extent in each house I have owned so far. It would be great if this could be fixed.

2) Broken Miscellaneous Quests in Solitude. See this thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1305484-a-bundle-of-solitude-bugs/ Whereby many misc quests were broken, seemingly by the first quest accepted in town not having been completed first. It resulted in a few Quest Items remaining permanently in my Inventory, taking up points of encumbrance.

3) The Companions Guild quest Animal Extermination picks a random area of the map where a Sabrecat or Bear has a den, and sets the objective as effectively 'kill this animal and return'. If the game selects a location where the User has already killed said wild animal (Because it attacked them as they walked past that area on the map) then upon reaching the objective marker for the quest it will be hovering over the dead animal. As there is no way of killing the already dead animal this breaks the quest. There is no way of completing it, and the Companions questline stops dead. You cannot complete it.

Besides fixing everything I'll contribute with my past list of suggestions:
1. Getting drunk or intoxicated.
2. Emotes
3. Arrow-crafting
4. Attacking while riding a horse (magic or bow)
5. Improved food
6. Improved follower AI
7. EQUIPPING MORE RINGS, I HAVE 10 FINGERS FFS
8. Fixing exploits
9. Salons, boutiques, tattoo parlors, something to change my aspect in-game.
10. Cooldown timers/icons on HUD for buffs, debuffs, diseases, poisons, etc.
11. Apply poison to off-hand (swapping weapons svcks)
12. Having a Video Setting for non-Widescreen TVs
13. HUD Opacity affects subtitles, it shouldn't IMO (then why would you turn subtitles on and make them invisible?)
14. No "Open Lock" spell? No key-dropping? Can't lockpick if I have a key? (Give me the option to, you're taking a lockpicking chance away from me, meanies)
15. Ok, so I can cook and cut wood... how about camping and fire-making? It'd be the real thing to camp in the wilderness (get rested bonus, well fed bonus, etc.)
16. Add a bag, satchel, something to horses to make them more useful. Just running faster isn't worth 1k if I can fast travel for free.
17. How about functional display cases, mannequins and other nifty decorations for houses?
18. Rotating/manipulating things I am "holding". It's harder to properly place a goblet in a table than fighting a dragon.
19. Add fatigue. As a disease, for not sleeping for 2-3 days, idk. It'd make sleeping/resting more legit and give scattered bedrolls a purpose.
20. Longer faction questlines. About 4 or 5 quests should not entitle me as the maximum authority ever in X guild (even if I'm dragonborn).
21. City guides, like a guard at the entrance that gives you a tour or an information booth, idk.

Also, the completionist journal idea sounds good.

Just a few of my own and others I've noticed around. Hope to hear your thoughts on these.

Some people are being overly ambitious... some of the features being described here wouldn't even happen with a full DLC expansion.

For now (and for quite a while to come I suspect), updates means fixing crap that's broken.

So...

Quests, quests and more quests.
Elemental resists (and others).
Texture issues.
Weapon racks and Bookshelves (not high priority, but would make me very happy).

General improvements in stability, game feels much less stable after 1.2 patch.

In terms of future DLC/expansion... I'd love to see an adventure involving a voyage onboard one of those sixy viking ships in the Sea of Ghosts.

For new features that will never happen... hardcoe mode please, eating, drinking, weapon/armour degradation/repair etc.

This limits the ability to bring loot back to town if it is the same style as too much of your other loot. Not good.
Precisely the point: you need to make choices and not be used as a big bag of loot. Solutions: use a companion (who also has containers, so don't exaggerate with the equipment to give him) or use the horse's saddlebags (with also some limited containers) to store the heaviest stuff.

In general some improvements to how bosses fight. For now they seem very much just buffed health compared to normal mooks. Having some special tactics that had to be utilized when fighting dragons or bandit chiefs would be really awesome.

When my character must spend the night outside, I'd like him to be able to set camp, khajitt like, with yurt, bedroll, fire, cooking pot. What would be nice too is that he could fish. I'd also like that he could have his own carriage.

What I'd also like is, when we free a prisoner who is "accompanied" by Empire guards or Thalmor, he could actually equip what we give him. For the time being this doesn't work; if we give him a weapon, he doesn't use it... :stare:

ive seen a few. ive seen more regular ones then ive seen glitched to hell though. i just keep walking when i see a messed up dragon. still have enough dragon fights.

i wanna be able to see my face.... theres nothing in my hood when i wear a mask, which i almost always wear. novelty wore off after a few days. the invisible head problem would be a nice fix..

horses shouldnt be able to walk up mountains.for that matter horses should not be able to stop on a dime. or run full speed immediately. id like to see much changed about horse riding. i liked first person on a horse too like in oblivion.

should also be able to shoot someone off a horse without killing the horse too.

little animation bugs in general. killing cinematics that dont match up. spells sometimes. ESP. when i use the quick select ones (Dpad left/right on xbox) 50% of the time it wont show a spell in that hand, but i can still cast it but theres no animation or noise. just shows the hand movement with nothing in it.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!One Id REALLY like to see get fixed.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone tell me if this happened to you too or if my life just svcks.

Everytime i go to markarth the guards still try to apprehend me like they did for the quest forsworn conspiracy/No one escapes cidhna mine. annoying as [censored]. the only dialogue option that doesnt end with them trying to fight me or me bribing them for something that i didnt do is when i say i submit, take me to jail. to which they do nothing because ive already done the quest. then they will immediately start the conversation over. every gaurd runs up to me and repeatedly engages me in this bugged dialogue. ive started sneaking around markarth invisible roleplaying it as if my name wasnt cleared and im still wanted (Dunmer vampire, illusionist assassin lol, kinda perfect) but its still pretty annoying when other quests require me to go there. i like markarth. good business and trade, carraige out front, beautiful city.
its exactly the same for me. Icant role play my way around it though as I'm a Nord Warrior so Markarth is now off limits to me. It svckS this more than anything I want fixed

Something I'd like to see is more of a reaction from surrounding characters when you kill someone. It would be great to see a wife get on her knees bawling and in tears after you've killed her husband, it would work wonders for the immersion and actually create more of a consequence for killing someone besides getting sent to jail or having to pay a fine.

Enlarge the text and enable different display settings. Not everyone has a large screen high def tv or monitor. My mid-size tv has rounded edges and I can never even see the text that is scrolling in the upper left- it's for the most part completely cut off. I can't even make out the dialogue text due to the font fuzziness, even when I have my face close to the tv.

Better travel options would be nice too. Not expecting it right now, just sayin'.

Full unlock on follower and spouse equipment. I want to see my wife in a dress when she is at home, not plate mail.

Well Fed Bonus. This would make eating useful. Similar to sleeping, give a 10% bonus to something that lasts 8 hours. I doubt we will get a hardcoe mode, but this would be fairly easy to add.

All shelves can be bookshelves. Some of the homes have a huge amount of shelves, but you can only interact with 2-3 of them.

Make candles, torches, flame pits, etc. usable. Let us turn them on/off. Am I the only one who is bothered to enter a tomb that has been sealed for 500 years and see candles burning?

Let us buy wall sconces and candles from shops, so we can brighten up our homes a bit.

Add weight to all the things that don't have weight.

Fix for mannequins. Does anyone not have this bug? Anyone?! How did this get past QC when it is 100%?

Vampire and Werewolf perk trees or even just new abilities gained with player level.

Make Eola marriable! The best little cannibal follower

Also, Vampirism is a huge pain (which I don't mind) but doesn't seem to have much reward. I like the Vampire and Werewolf perk tree idea... Or maybe add new spell tomes, found on vampires or maybe purchasable from the shady guy in Winterhold, with spells castable only by vampires, with effects that scale with hunger level. just an idea.

How about eliminating the lockpicking Perk tree all together. Replacing it with some of the good ideas other people have posted....bare handed skill Perk tree...vampire skill Perk tree....or a Perktree where you can spend perk points to lean preset skills that fit into none of the other catagories....

Skeleton key......higher jump.....jump while sprinting......jumping attack.....levitate ( i miss that ability )......a kick attack ( works like Power bash ).....ability to make your own scrolls.....the camp builder stuff people are mentioning.....these would be great random things worth spending Perks on......I am sure people could come up with much more creative stuff to spend perks on than I just did.....would be better use of a perk tree than the unnecessary lockpicking tree.

Edit: could even add a horse Perk tree.....I have found the horses to be fairly useless but, maybe a Perk tree could add some pizzaz to them.

Horses are useless, they are slow, they can't sprint for very long, you can't interact with anything while on one and your companion is screwed when you're riding. They need to be added to.

Too many immortal npc's. I decided to go on a murderous rampage in whiterun, ended up with 5 immortal npc's chasing me until I gave up and loaded an old save. I should be able to wipe out a town and own it, just notify me if I break a quest like in Morrowind.

Also if I kill thee owner of a bed why can't I sleep inn it? I wiped out an Orc stronghold thinking I would have my own fort to hang out in. Yet it won't let me sleep in any bed. There really is no benefit to acquiring my new stronghold to speak of.

Their needs to be some sort of reputation tracked based on your actions. Whether I save the world out murder their neighbors there is no difference in how I'm treated.

Most importantly let me sort my favorites list! Why are shouts, spells, weapons, shields etc. all in the same alphabetical list? On console the D pad has four directions, how about up for weapons, left for spells, right for shouts and down for potions?

Hey

Had a look at the list and its pretty good but I'm a bit surprised that this has not been added.

I would like to be able to have more customization with my followers. IE: When I got my Whiterun housecarl I gave her new better gear so she equips it but when I leave the house and come back she wears her old rubbish armor again. I would like more control over what my followers wear. Note: This works ok with weapons and shields. She is still using the Falmer Sworld and Targe Shield.

When I give followers to join the Blades I would like them to wear different kinds of Blade armor depending on their skills for example a mage gets blade robes, a archer or thief gets light armor and a warrior gets heavy blade armor. Not just the same armor that they get. When I gave Marcurio to the blades he looked wierd in the light armor.

I know Blood in the Ice is bugged but I would like to add that when I tried to start this quest after I had completed the Civil War Quests with the Imperials the quest would not start. Something happens to Tova which is the reason why I dont think I can get it now which may need to get fixed. But when I created a new character and tried it I got the quest no problem.

Oh when we head to Skuldafn with Odahviing maybe having the option to skip the ride would be better than just skipping it? I think the ride would be better?

The ability to do everything in the game again would be nice without the damn quest system messing up or the baught houses having serious glitches, or the main quest being incapable of being played.

OK bear with me here I wasnt able to read the list of already posted requests but i did read more than half of them running through the pages... so you may consider mine a request/comment addressing all imortant things that need to be included in a patch ASAP.

Game Stability Fix: (Random crashes, dragons flying bakwards, unusable bookshelves, missing magic resistances, decapitation animations, lag spikes that occur upon entering towns or during combat with many npc's.)

Retroactive Nerf to all enchanted equipment and upgraded equipment over the maximum stats legitimitely obtainable. (Simply put a cap on the stats of each equipment and enchant)

Perk and Talent Reset Option to compensate for the Cap Nerf/Bug Fix
(Due to fact that the current bugs/exploits in Skyrim render 95% of the Perks/Talents useless.)

Here is a list of exploits that need to get fixed.
Spoiler
Exploits: 1. Skillbooks such as Ohgma Infinium being reusable when it is read inside an inventory other than your own (usually a chest) and stored before leaving the menu. 2. Unkillable NPC's granting unlimited experience in combat skills most notably for 100 sneak being attainable in the first cave with the bear. 3. Companions with the skill training ability allow for free skill training due to them holding their received payments in their inventory.4. NPC's selling houses and decorations for free due to removing all your gold from your character before the Npc is done talking.5. Duplicating books on bookshelves due to slow bookshelf animation and fast inventory actions. 6. Duplicating the book found on a skeleton in the mountains east to Winterhold by re-entering the skeletons inventory.7. Falmer helmet allowing for circlet to be equipped under/over the helmet.8. Getting arrested with different sets of apparel before serving your time allows for each set to be equipped once time has been served.9. Marksman Potion buffing all melee skills instead of just Archery.10. Restoration Potion buffing all enchantments before the enchanted apparel is equipped. This allows for infinitley stronger potions to be crafted when using the Restoration potion buff with Alchemy enchanted equipment and recrafting stronger Restoration potions... This allows for a character to reach a Godmode status through Enchanting potions.
