Where in Skyrim do you live if Skyrim was real life compared

I'm in N. Cali so I'd say a mix of Riften (in Spring/Fall) Whiterun and Solitude for Summer. Lake Tahoe is an 1 hr drive for me so then I'd say more like Winterhold like now in Winter :)

Hmmm...Well, I'm gonna have to say Riverwood as it's by a river (and my hometown is by a river.)

Riverwood with a mix of Whiterun, thereabout.

Texas during it's [censored] ridiculously cold winters, after it's ridiculously hot summers....

I'd say Oblivion. Mehrunes Dagon's realm.

Good sir, I think you may be in the wrong thread.

Quite so. The funniest part is when I got up this morning and went to the thread I thought I was posting in, I was wondering "Where the heck is my post?".

Such are the dangers of multiple windows.

Gotta take the elevator to my appartment and the corridors are badly lit ... so it's probably Blackreach.

Falkreath, besides the occasional homicidal werewolf it seems like a pretty quiet area and I'm from the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.A. so it seems okay climate wise to me.

Whiterun was my main home as it was central and had a nice community feel to it. That and the weather is pleasant.

Since I married Aela the Huntress, I decided Markath was a better home. I move Aela in and she now runs a little store so I can now trade with and call in for good grub. Not needing a housecarl in Markath I then gave Argis full dragon armor and an ebony sword and took him out with me as a follower (I didn't realise was a rock Argis is - recommended as follower).

Since then I have let Argis go and he is a full member of the blades.

I now only use my whiterun home as a blacksmithing home. I keep all my smithing materials and gems in the cupboard just to the left as you enter the front door so I can grab them easy and pop next door to the armoury shops. That and the whiterun home is where you fast travel to so all makes a quick buck.

Probably be Falkreath or Markath. Close as I can think of that's like southern Englanfd.

Hm, I am from the Highlands. In reality the Northern Highlands isn't all that far from the artic circle, so if we were to say Windhelm Northward, or The Pale and Winterhold (hold) were or in the Arctic Cirlce then I would most like be somwhere in Falkreath Hold, maybe?

But, if were are saying where we would like to be... Then I have no idea! When first playing I was very excited for Falkreath but then really, really disopointed.

Slushy swamps full of giant spiders? :o

I'd choose The Rift. Lots of mixed wood forest, like my old home state of Michigan.

Solitude or Windhelm, depending on where my girlfriend would want to live.

Uh... I don't know... I guess Dragonbridge would be the town resembling my real life sorroundings the most - it's
a bit of a weird question.

Riften reminds me too much of my boyhood in Brooklyn and Solitude is too metropolitan. Probably Whiterun.

I'd say somewhere in the Fall Forest (The Rift area). Fall will always be my favorite season, and to me that area of the game is picturesque.

I live in Texas... so.... definitely not anywhere in Skyrim.

I would agree with you on this, but after going though last summer's nightmare of all those days of 100+ degree (F) heat, I want to freeze my butt off!
