1.5 is currently Beta. It is therefore not released to consoles. Also, for the consoles they have to go through Microsoft and Sony, and we know with experience that it might take long before you guys see the update.
Sorry, but that's how it is.

How long did 1.4 take?

From the PC beta release, or official release for all consoles?

The MS process takes up to two weeks form the point that Bethesda submit it for verification.

Okay, I didn't catch that. But it will still have to go through the console companies, and that may take forever if I know MS and Sony right, and compares to how long 1.4 take.

Console Patches come out about a week after the PC patch goes live. The 1.5 PC patch went live about 2 days ago. It is in the hands of Sony and MS and once they certify the patch, it will be released for those platforms.

BTW, you will like this patch. Game is even more stable now.

Really? The game really need stability. Any improvements to performance?
I'll wait until Blade will update SkyBoost to work with 1.5 before I play anymore Skyrim anyway.

Microsoft usually put updates and new DLC on Tuesdays, not sure when Sony does however. Basicly just be on the look out for it this Tuesday or the "near" future. "Had to add a little disclaimer" :bunny:

Since its not out in EU yet, I'm betting early next week for the consoles.

Sony likes to use Tuesdays for major patches and DLC's, I think it's a universal day for the gaming industry. MMO's like to patch/update/release expansions and so on on tuesdays as well, so I believe it's either a huge coincidence, or it's the universal game industry update day.

Biggest lie I've heard this year thus far.

So we (360) get those new kill moves too?
And new underwater visuals. That's even more important to me.

Unimaginably heavy loss for you then. Patch 1.5 is the best yet.

You're so lucky to only have to do it once a week, i have to do atleast one full load per day unless i want to be buried in laundry.

I honestly don't see the kill cams that often. I think I even see them less now than I did before they added new ones. Remember, it is only on the last NPC in the cell, and if the hit will take away all their remaining health does the chance for a Kill Cam even come into play. So it is Random, after those conditions have been met, for this to happen.

On the PC, there is even a way to reduce that Random Chance to 0.

Edit: I have not checked the Settings to see if this Toggleable, because as I said above, I am seeing the Kill Cams even less often now.

You don't know what you're talking about.

.....Taken from cinemablend.com.........

"The next major patch for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available. Patch 1.5,released in beta form last week, will be downloaded automatically the next time you log into Steam.

The update introduces kill cameras for both projectile weapons and magic. It also provides a few new kill moves for melee weapons. Those are really the biggest additions in the patch. However,a huge amount of bug fixes and tweaks are also included.

"Those playing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 can expect the update soon,as we’re submitting the update to console manufacturers this week," said Bethesda.

Xbox360 and PS3 owners might not have to wait too long for the update. Patch 1.4 hit consoles about a week after the PC. Though Sony and Microsoft are popular pin-cushions,they are capable of producing quick turnaround."

Debatable. The 'PC Issues' and 'Beta Patch' forums are crammed full of complaints relating to the new shadows.

Sony and MS have a long approval process which takes up to 1-2weeks for a patch to get through depending on when Bethesda did submit the patch to them it is still undecided but as I said a few days ago 4 days at the least I would expect the patch to be released.

And shadows are important why? :D

I gave up on shadows in this series back in Morrowind and have not missed them since.
