So whos excited for some new dlc? 5 reasons why you should b

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:11 pm

I am looking forward to bug fixes, which currently make the game unfinishable on the xbox 360 (at least all non main quests, or achievements), before a DLC.

I can't finish "blood on the ice", on the xbox 360. They are going to fix that though, apparently, with patch 1.4.

I can't get all the daedric artifacts, even with taking advantage of the one quest where you could get two of the items that count, because

1) A guy is lying dead, on the ground of his city, where he has been since I visited there at an extremely low level. I won't say who or where, to keep
this spoiler free.

2) I mistakenly chose the "good guy" option on two other Daedric quests, since I had not read spoiler guides.

So even if Beth. ever fixed the "bug" where that guy can die from a dragon, I'd still only have 14 out of 15 items. You can't go back on the xbox and
resurrect someone or set a quest to the start again.

What cracks me up is when people make this complaint, people actually say they should have read more spoiler guides and/or
had lots of save games. The problem is you don't always KNOW, until you go to check it out 35 levels later (when you only have that
achievement left to get.)

-----------------------------------------------------

So no, I don't think the purpose of a DLC should be fixing bugs. However

IF the DLC let you get 4-5 daedric artifacts, which counted for the original achievement:

I'd like that. In playing around with ANY mannequin in the game, I came up with extra daedric artifacts of the ones I do have; Unfortunately,
the game seems to know the difference and I still must be at 13 since I don't have that achievement.

Maybe, but i think DLC will make my PS3 problems worse. If its a memory related problem making the game laggy.

I hope they pull a FO3 and expand on the end of the main questline, i have a feeling they will, because the ending left way too many questions to be answered~ So its obvious there will be an expanded main quest ending. I just hope it wont be as lackluster as FO3's was, and something big like the Shivering Isles.

Also i hope they add Dragonbone/scale weapons... I mean... Why didnt they add this... So dumb... Obvious feature left out for expac is obvious... Also... MORE POWERFUL DESTRUCTION SPELLS PLEASE DX *obvious reason for leaving out spell making is obvious so they could sell us more spells...* Also more Conjurations aswell.

But the main thing i want to see fixed right now, is Followers... PLEASE FIX THEIR STAT AND LEVEL SCALING!!!

i want better gameplay that should have already been part of skyrim.

more quests, items and locations doesn't add to what i want, and, therefore, depending on what the dlc offers, i most likely will not be buying it.

maybe a cheap goty version down the road, though.

Not excited about giving steam my cc number, probably will pass on dlc until I can get it on the goty edition, or just use mods.

I'm not a fan of Steam either, but you can buy pre-paid debit cards that have a set amount on them for online transactions. Then you can discard the card and buy a new one, or some you can recharge.

It is rather naive of gamers to use the cards tied to their bank accounts or credit companies.

Really the only thing I want out of this game is to have free roam multiplayer like Borderlands or Red Dead Redemption. You could have a private free roam lobby with a friend and do quests together or could risk it all and go into a public game and try to kill other players walking around.

Thats not the way you discourage gaming companies to stop using Steam, however safe it is.

I would like a substancial improvement for dragons. Like new attack patterns, more shouts available to them, stuff like that...
Also they should have an "ability" to kill quickly generic NPC or creatures or at least a powerful dismay shout to prevent being mobbed. It's a pain to see a dragon, even the weakest one, killed by a bunch of city guards. This would also benefit the uniqueness sense of being dragonborn. I know that there are modders ot there but dragons were a major selling point and I think they deserved more care instead of being treated like normal beasts.

I will be happy if they allow you to recustomize your character's features like body and face and would love to be able to reset my perks. I wasted a couple perks that I got early on and it bothers me. But yea having these two things would make the DLC worth it to me. Either way I know the DLC will be awesome as Bethesda always delivers : )

I want to have the ability to change your appearance,Sure,Pc players can just type in showracemenu,But we console players want to change our appereance too.Like take that from fallout, someone that can give you a haircut, change colour of both beard/hair/dirt/war paint/ etc.And you can change them too.
Also if its possible i want a new hardcoe mode. taken from fallout new vegas, like you could just toggle it on/off in options.
I bet alot of fans would love that,

i'd like the option to finish a faction questline without becoming the grandmaster of that faction.

So a new guild master would step up to the task?

Thieves and Assassins have Vampires. Warriors have Werewolves. Its about time mages were catered for. Liches perhaps? Lichdom has been hinted at in morrowind and oblivion. I'd like to see it officialy added.

Judging by Fallout 3s brilliant DLC, I'm fairly convinced that the DLC wont be anything less.

Couldn't agree with you more...

I am sure Bethesda has something brilliant for the upcoming DLC for Skyrim... I am so anxious to find out.
