Why destroying the Dark Brotherhood

This totally went over my head. Can someone explain this?

He's suggesting to use them as dead thralls.

What if we covered all the dark brotherhood armor with bread?
Is Lydia secretly a pigeon?

Is Lydia secretly a pigeon?
Maybe.

It'll work, right?

Wait, this is how one can assassinate the dragonborn! Give them a bread suit!

They probably wouldn't be able to sneak very well.

And by the logic in this thread, Lydia would attack them, and at least eat the bread.

I would be more impressed if they used a goat and a spoon.

I asked Festus for some advice on how to complete a mission, and he said to use magic to melt their skin off.

In various games, I like to try leading enemies into traps, spike, pits, et cetera.

Yeah, I prefer being Sneaky like a real assassin. I don't even do the dialogue option: "_____ says 'hi'.".

The Dark Brotherhood is my favorite part of the game. Easily the most enjoyable quests and best rewards. I started my first game as a Nord Warrior and I joined the DB just out of curiosity cause I planned on reloading a save and then killing them all. About an hour into it, I quickly decided to dismiss my Nord and started a new game with an Imperial Assassin and I never looked back.

All the DB members were the most interesting characters in the game and everything they're about is just bad ass. The story had me stuck on the couch untill 5 am and then I woke up too early just to start playing again. The Assassin role is where it's at. Hail Sithis.

Wiping the dark brotherhood out made for a good day. Even funnier since when I did it, it was a character built around the concept of Solid Snake crossed with the Kool Aid Man. Stealthily take out the fringes, plan an assault, then draw a glass sword, kick in the door, and kill everything that moves. Prior to that, showing Astrid what happens to nimble/speed fighters when they get into melee with a shield-bashing sword and board fighter was just plain fun.

If the brotherhood's main deity didn't sound like some form of mutated venereal disease, I might have been something distantly related to mildly cautious. But it does, so I wasn't.

I had one character join them, an evil Dunmer. All my other characters, if the quest got started at all, just destoyed them. Why? Well because they are evil.

Honestly I WISH WISH WISH there was an option to do the same to the thieves guild. Then I could get rid of that bullying rift-raft and the Lioness could finally not be so upset all the time. All that talk about cleaning up Riften and how bad they are. Even after you become their leader there is no option to make them more respectable and they are still basically ruled by madam Black-Blair. Why even bother becoming their leader or restoring them?
