Agreed, but Beth managed to create a game the matches most people's expectations hence the sales numbers and awards. The angry mob will dissipate before long.

Yesterday there was an article in IGN where game developers picked their top 3 favorite games of 2011 and most of them had Skyrim on their list. So it's not just gamers and press but also rival companies praising the game.

I sure hope you are right and we get rid of all of these CoD players soon so that the people that actuallt like/love the game can come forward and write creative, positive posts.. and all of those arrow jokers can [censored] off aswell.

The problem with todays generation is if they can get passed the hidden traps and lost passages they can really get to what it takes to be in control. Control of self over respect from others. Now take the other half of the generation that got lost in these traps for awhile and got fed up and busted out. Now they know how to be in control and having that kind of heart is unstoppable.

TES fans are turning into [censored].But insted of complaning that the game is better than all the other.They start complain how the game should be perfect.I'm stoping reading those threads.I agree with the people "Don't like it,leave".Just make the other players experience worst.It just like a Cod player that just don't like the game and plays it.He's so bad that the team lost the game...

With skyrim? I know everyone doesn't have the same preferences when it comes to games but i brought skyrim on the morning it came out, wen't home played it and even now ( i have played it ALMOST everyday since i got it ) that i have passed most quest's, restarted MANY many times on different characters I still find myself loving the game, almost as if I just brought it... I know it's not the perfect game ( especially with the bugs ect ) but I also don't know how it gets so much hate over mundane things.. I suppose the saying is somewhat true..

Because there are loads of spoilt whiners out there.

I think Skyrim is top notch as modern games go. I am so looking forward to seeing where the creative modders will take this game in the years ahead. Meanwhile best to ignore the whiners.

There is nothing "modern" and original about Skyrim. If you want a modern RPG, you might want to try The Witcher 2.

* angry teenagers who lack manners mostly, they tend to exagerate and shake arms up and down when complaining, and blowing hot air because they are trendy and that is the actual trend.
* some people making serious points about real bugs (minority).
* others who happen to have a bad day, go play the game and happen to find a game stopper for them.

I think it's mainly the ps3 brigade that are saying this. the game is fine on pc a~~nd xbox~~ if you use the console to bypass bugs.

Fixed!

I'm quite pleased by Skyrim but had I bought it on console I would be dead in the water waiting for a patch and venting my frustration on forums.

No they're not. The modders are creative people who do stuff we all benefit from.
There's a difference between discussions about creative improvements which can be made to the game and the spoilt brats that whine about the game not being exactly as they want it to be.

Some people simply took a ride on the "hype-go-round" and got dizzy with excitement. Their ride eventually svcked, and now they're demanding better one next time.

i have some HUGE issues with skyrim, but i definitely got my moneys worth out of it with 160+ hours in it. considering that most single player games these days give you play time hours in the single digits i think skyrim is a fantastic deal when you consider how much you get for it.

as someone mentioned though if they bought the PS3 version and lost a 100 hour character i would be miffed as well and i dont blame them for venting at all.

I agree with this. I am 126 hours and some change into it and still going. I am like level 42 and really just now and forging onward in the MQ. I myself made some complaints about the game play, the story, the fact that there doesn't seem to be any consequences for one's actions throughout the game, bugs, glitches, etc. Despite all of these issues, I have found my enjoyment in Skyrim. So as far as people who feel ripped off, I don't know what to say. I certainly do not feel ripped off...Overall it is a cool game...A lot to do in it for sure...

-Dind't liked the guilds quests?Please read the Lore or give better ideas-Play obvilion.
-Todd howard ask if it was ok to change Lore for better gameplay?-You said ok.
-The bugs make the game unplayble?-Please play New Vegas.
-Find the game to easy?-Please play Dark souls or increase the difficult.
Skyrim is bassicaly what the cod fans wanted about new cod games.Home'ver it was more than obvious that wasn't going to change.While Todd done the oposite.Plz Trust Todd Howard .He maked Obvilion and Morrowind the way they are.
