Are you kidding me Oblivion had some serious copypasta going on. I got so fed up with going through underground fortresses and aylied ruins that all looked identical. One of my favorite things to do in skyrim is take random radiant quests like finding new shouts, rescue missions and bounty quests because every location is unique and many have awesome back stories. I haven't had this much fun simply exploring a game world since morrowind.

This.
Cruising through an Ayleid ruin was fairly boring. I mean, you had the rare trap, undead, goblin, or bandit every so often, but other than that they were... empty.
The Dwemer ruins in comparison are full of life. Walls crumbling down as the ruins decay, still active steam systems running, trash and furniture from when the Dwemer still inhabited them, not to mention their suddenly-freed slaves (the Falmer) running around rampant. Even the caves look surprisingly unique and without that "I feel like I've done this before" deja vu feeling.
Skyrim just hands Oblivion a beatdown in every category.
I agree that Skyrim is a step backwards, but not in world design. It's in everything else, really. The UI, quest design, and character development aspects have all taken massive hits. It doesn't bode too well for the future.
All these newfangled games svck! The home rpg was perfected back in 1985 with the release of Wizard's Crown. Behold its awesomeness

The graphics were horrible, the story was lame, the sound effects were nearly nonexistent, and unless you were main-lining crystal meth you would slip into a coma with half an hour. But that's the way it was AND WE LIKED IT!!!!
The dungeens of Oblivion were not spot on copy past, as far as i know theres not 2 that are exactly the same in every way, yes they look and feel alike. If one guy did all those dungeens in oblivion he deserves credit for what he acomplished all on his own, he managed to pul a hell of a lot of them in game. A dungeen is better then no dungeen.

Oblivion gave us rolling landscapes and vast rivers and lakes, Skyrim gave us mountains and dragons.
Here me out, I realize that Skyrim is the northern province of Tamriel and that is a harsh and in some places barren landscape, but I can't help but feel somewhat dissapointed with how the gameworld has been presented and for this is a huge step backwards in the TES series of RPG's. Oblivion was pretty, the forests vast and vistas awe inspiring. Yet climb a mountain in Skyrim and it's all a bit meh, the snow look's ok while it's falling but don't look down whatever you do as the ground covered snow looks like something knocked up using MS Paint.
In previous Elder Scrolls we had wonderful Elven ruins to explore, with gourgous lighting and atmospheric ambience but in Skyrim we have dwemer ruins and the same sound effects in each. What I'm trying to say is that Skyrim at times feels a bit cut & paste, where as Oblivion was well thought out and well implemented. The interface is the biggest culprit imo, which look's like something you might find on a mobile phone rather than the beaten journal you would find in the pocket of a wanderer in the Tamriel of yesteryear .
Take it back a notch next time Bethesda, keep it true to the elder scrolls, I don't want any fancy interface or silly dragons, give me a lush province to explore with my trusted crumpled journal.
Holy cow you must be playing a different game from the one I'm playing then. Oblivion better aesthetically than Skyrim? Nope. Most of Oblivions interior areas, dungeons and such, were all cut and paste. They were identical from start to finish even to the point of enemies and treasure being placed in the exact same locations. I found Oblivion to be somewhat boring for this reason. Oblivion's landscape was ok but I only really liked it once I had it heavily modded with texture and landscape replacements. It was nowhere near as interesting or alive as Skyrim. You are way, way off on this complaint. There are ways that Skyrim took steps backwards but the landscape isn't one of them.
People hate on Oblivion way too much. Sure, the level scaling was intolerable and the graphics are now dated, but quest-wise it beats Skyrim into a pulp. Skyrim is the better game, Oblivion is the better RPG.

I love oblivion,But i love skyrim more. what is the most hated TES Game by the fans? is it skyrim and oblivion? Most loved is probably morrowind (my favourite game)

The most hated TES game by fans seems to be whatever is the newest one at the time.
I somehow highly doubt anyone anywhere places Arena as higher up than Daggerfall. Or Morrowind, or any of the later ones really. Hey, it wasn't bad it was just a bit of a pioneer both as an open world RPG and as an RPG by Bethesda and it shows. I think Arena to Daggerfall is the only step up everyone agrees on.
