Why No Snakes And Other Questions

Post » Sun Jul 03, 2011 2:14 pm

So instead of Fallout 3 vs New Vegas, it's cats vs dogs now?

Yeah, this thread is seriously derailed. I expect lockdown soon.

PS, I'm a cat person :poke:

Also, dogs are actually much more intellectually capable than cats, despite that cats have that look on their face like they know whats going on.

Just because a cat doesn't feel like doing a trick doesn't mean it's less intelligent than a dog. It's like someone coming up to me and saying hey you have a BFA degree? "Tell me everything you know now in order to get that and I will give you a cookie." And then I respond by ignoring them because I don't feel like answering the question. And then that person says, "WTF, answer my question or I'll take that degree away from you.
You know what never mind I'm just gonna classify you as less intelligent."

It's this type of thinking that has led to graduate degrees rewarding people who can wiggle through the system rather than on their intelligence and innovation and creativity.

FYI, I don't eat pork because I am against eating intelligent animals. A pig is much more intelligent than a dog...in fact they can play atari-like video games and a full grown pig has the intelligence of a 4-5 year old human.

Oh well lets travel far from the premise. I'm a vegetarian for similar reasons. They all seem intelligent to me. Watching a mouse out think a cat can be very instructive.

I have eaten all sorts of food, meat is meat, I'm not adverse to eating any type of food, except human meat, but that's because it is very bad for humans, prions 'n all that.

I love how this has turned into a cat vs dogs thread when they both have very similair qualities. Lol.

OT - I was wondering that myself OP. I want some mutated rattlesnakes in the MOJAVE, not just some damn Coyote/Rattlesnack hybrid.

Such a trivial statement. Like saying, "Watching a turd outfloat a fish in the water."

Ok, I'm gonna end this debate with a win since you have resorted to insults several times without intelligent rebuttle. Cats rule.

Like you've done any better, making up pseudo-facts and putting other positions down with low blows.

Cats rule. And pitbulls are butt-ugly.

Yeah, I've resorted to insults several times, while insults has been your entire argument, because this is the only thing you've been saying, supporting it with eugenics and fake made-up facts.

It is pretty sad how people are like cats, no dogs, no cats, no dogs.

Domestic-Dogs are better

Wild-Cats are better.

Overall Gorillas are better

In the game if there were mutated cats, they probally would have just been hunted as they would not have been a huge threat, but they did not provide a purpose for the human. Where as the dog is a guard and a hunter. There are cats sort of. Some lady in Fallout 2 had owned a cat but it was killed for food. Any house cat would also be easy prey as they are a house cat. Obviuosly dogs in Fallout tend to be husky or shepard making them not weak...

On topic, Snakes were going to be in the ffirst Fallout, but were cut, they would have been owned by the viper gang.

Now I know why you like talon company. The Tool faction of Fallout. Oh your totally right....pitbulls were never bred to be aggressive. How foolish to think such a thing. And psychlogical conditions are never genetic. Things like bi-polar etc happen out of whim. SARCASM

Not going to go any further in this. The maturity level has dropped too far below a threshold, and I can't seem to form an adequate response.

Anyway back on topic, there were serpent/snake -like FEV monsters in Fallout2. I didn't like them, they had a huge amount of health and did a low amount of damage to you. I just felt like I was wasting ammo on them.

Because you haven't been constantly insulting and berating opposition, making assumptions and claiming factual backing, when you had nothing but your own opinion, having the gall to make claims on... forget it, you are just that kind of person.

I'm still favorable of dogs, but I found this humorous:

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DIARY: Day 183

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.

They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal.

The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.

Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs.

In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair, must try this on their bed.

Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed about what a good little cat I was.
Hmmm, not working according to plan.

There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit.

The bird on the other hand has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time.

They were bred to be the best fighting dog, yes, but they are not inherently aggressive.

It depends on what your definition of "out think" is. That's why I said your statement is like saying "watching a turd out-float a fish in the water".

Critical Thinking FYI
