Do women think about 'bumping uglies' as much as men?

This thread may/may not be appropriate for the forum, and if that's the case feel free to close/delete the thread mods.

But...I was wondering...do women think about 'bumping uglies' (sixual intercourse) as much as, or more than, men? This question is quite the silly one I know. (I'm a man) I'd say yes, though they don't 'publicly announce' said thoughts as loud as men do.

Short answer: no.

Long answer: some think they do, but they don't have any idea what they're up against, so no. :P

Observing people for 35 years and having this very conversation with a lot of female friends. I'm certainly no authority on the subject, but I have 100% confidence in my answer. :P

I doubt it. Or perhaps the fact that females tend to be far more "picky" merely creates that illusion.

As a general rule, men think about it more. There are always exceptions of course. :hubbahubba:

No, because I read somewhere that for men reproducing is more important to spread their genes, since sperm is metaboloically inexpensive and easy to produce where women are more picky because they're born with all the eggs they'll ever have, and being pregnant is a lot of work. So, no, they don't think about it as much as guys.

Oh god I can't even keep a sixual post on this forum. It's just too awkward .. and I'm an open person!

Of course there are exceptions. Genetic anomalies, victims of head trauma, "women" that are actually men, etc. :P

of course not! We wouldn't have all those movies where girls take ugly looking guys that everyone considers a loser and then make a big effort trying to make them into a hot popular dude if that were the situation.

I'd say yes, with the qualifier of individual variation -- an aromantic asixual is going to be thinking of it a hell of a lot less than anyone else, after all :P.

I haven't been privy to all that many girly gossipy conversations, but my understanding is that they're not terribly dissimilar to those of men, if you boil them down.

Well if you think about it a woman's body has much more plumbing geared toward reproduction than a man's. Higher maintenance too. My guess is a woman's body triggers more sixual thoughts than a man's, though those thoughts may not necessarily be fantasies.

That's quite possibly the worst euphemism I've ever heard. Bumping uglies, really? It takes a lot to make six disgust me, and that saying managed it handily...

In my opinion, and this is coming from a straight-as-a-board male, sixual organs AREN'T attractive. They're, in my opinion, extremely ugly; hence the 'bumping uglies' term.
