Would you buy a copy of skyrim if it was bundled with all 4

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 9:16 pm

I would, even though I already have a copy of Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind. They should remaster Morrowind though, with the entire province instead of just Vvardenfell, Solstheim, and Mournhold.

I am probably the minority on this one. But, I wouldn't buy the collection. I am more interested in seeing what's next than relieving the past.

Good answer.

I totally agree with this, and I kinda like the past as the past, even if I do revisit Morrowind (My fav TES) every now and then.

I downloaded Daggerfall off the ES site a while ago but I can't seem to work it.

So as of now, I have yet to play Arena and Daggerfall. Would I buy all 5 in a set? If it was cheaper than £100 (the lowest I've seen Arena go for) then by all means, regardless that I have TESIII GOTY, TESIV GOTY and Skyrim.

Given that all of the other games, while great in their time, are currently outdated, no, I would not buy a packaged deal UNLESS "remastering" meant porting over to the Skyrim engine. This won't happen. Basically, you get these package deals somewhere before GOTY editions come out. It's marketing, selling a stand-alone, virtually worthless product, pushing resale of the current product to the same people who also purchased the stand-alone of the newest product.

If it were a collection made for the PS3, I'd buy one.

I`d definately buy all the Elder Scrolls in one bundle if they were remastered. It would be very interesting to see how Morrowind and Oblivion looked with the new graphics  on my xbox.

I've no interest in playing Arena or Daggerfell, they were awful. I might play Morrowind remastered but I'd drop Skyrim in a heartbeat for a remastered Oblivion.

I would so long as gameplay mechanics weren't changed i loved morrowind and an upgrade like halo aniversary would be awesome and i would like to play daggerfall because arena was pretty awesome when i checked that out but i wouldn't want any "improvements" like voice acting or anything just a little less pixelization would be nice for display on modern monitors.

Yeah if they did something like what they've done with the old arcade games. I don't really care if they're remastered or not it'd just be cool to have the first 3 on my ps3.

i would definitely buy that, so long as they didn't switch to voice acting, or anything else. just update the graphics, and AI

Well, if such a product existed, I'd buy it immediately. Especially in case all the plugins and DLCs are included, and especially if remasterization provides new content (Sutch, Artemon, Bethal Grey, Caer Suvio, Kavas Rim Pass, Mir Corrup, Thurzo Fortress, Wroth Naga, Stirk, joinable Twin Lamps in Morrowind, a quest to rebuild Kvatch, a quest to become a Count in Oblivion, A meeting with Kh'utta and Mehrunes Dagon's Major Domo in Oblivion, a Decent Peryite Pit, Trollish clubs, Minotaurian weapons, Auroran armors, Impish staves, Spriggan amulets, Goblin questgivers, Cyrodiilic werewolves, Electric slaughterfish, Spears, crossbows and enchanting in Cyrodiil, possibility to use guars as mounts in Morrowind, perhaps a Dwemer ruin in Cyrodiil, joinable Berserkers in Solstheim, joinable city guards in Oblivion, more quests in the knights orders of Cyrodiil, a joinable Order of the Lamp in both Cyrodiil and Morrowind, a Morag Tong in Cyrodiil, joinable Dres, Indoril and Dagoth Houses, Great Houses guards, Dark Brotherhood, Census and excise office, Talos Cult and Dissident Priests in Morrowind, fixed levelling systems, and lore around the Wings of the Queen of Bats...) But all this is dream, I suppose...

Hell. Yeah.

I might cry if I ever saw Balmora remastered.

On second thought, I know I would.

Probably not, but Im not sure what you mean by remastered. Usually when I hear that word its in reference to music albums and indicates an improvement, but I dont think that could apply here. Did you mean repackaged? If its just a rerelease then no, but if they updated the graphics then sure.

If you made it possible to travel between all the privinces involved, hells ya. I wouldn't mind doing some of the Oblivion and Morrowind content in the 4th era, or traveling Skyrim during the Oblivion crisis.

The idea makes me drool. but won't happen.

I'd like to see the older TES games ported over to iPad and other tablets. Many of the fun RPGs on iOS have an early '90s feel to them. A game like Daggerfall would fit right in, and I wouldn't change a thing except what would be needed for touch control.

You're a genius. That would be awesome on the go or even sitting home. I' d shell out 15-20 bucks easily for each game

Maybe, if they somehow got skyrim engine & textures to work on other TES. I've seen them do a similar thing for for half life, and I must say It feels like a totally different game.
