I am probably the minority on this one. But, I wouldn't buy the collection. I am more interested in seeing what's next than relieving the past.

Remastering might work for some games, but I do not think one should remaster The Elder Scrolls. I think it would just be wrong, mainly because a great part of the games are about the feel the world gives.

Remake? No way. How uninspiring. It's been done already. You want to bore the developers to death?

Tie them into Skyrim DLC or expansion pack, in a different time (different NPCs, quests, etc)? OK, sure. Yes

A new TES game featuring Morrowind or something done already? No, I want to see what's out there. Something new, like deserts and tropics, and tropical jungles, and anything new that I can't imagine right now.

To be honest, I'd buy a remake. But I can't imagine they'd want to do something again at this point. And I think they could make something better with their time.

This is true but what about the halo remake the only thing they did with that is make it better they didn't change the game and they brought more life into the game. If they can do that with halo i just think that the elder scroll games could do some amazing work especially with pc mods that already have the game almost remastered wouldn't be that hard.

This a serious question? lol

Yes I would buy them IF they were remastered. By remastered what do YOU mean exactly though. Updated to current graphics and made with Skyrim's Engine?

http://uesp.net/wiki/General:Playing_DOS_Installments_under_DOSBox
The game is available for free download at the official website to run by DOSBox.

I would most certainly buy it.
I never really played Arena and Daggerfall as the gameplay and praphics kind of scared me away.
Same with Redguard and Battlespire, I kind of want to play them.

But you do realize that TES I: Arena came out 1994 and got http://elderscrollsarena.gooofull.com/resources/img/screenshots/2008/06/bafe307d367903298266c701384a5e92.png

Actually, I think I'll give it yet a try...

Good point on the DosBox free game, it works a treat. To your being scared of the graphics, well, in those days, those were considered good graphics, so we also tend put things in perspective to contemporary graphics.. But for game play and role playing, Daggerfall smokes all others after it, IMO. I still have Daggerfall installed on my power rig here and I also have Ultima IV (from 1985) installed as well, all work very well.

I could not imagine how muich it would cost to remaster Arena and Daggerfall as well as even Morrowind. Not many gamers would buy into those games considering how most these days are into eye candy, than they are actual game play and lore. For me, I say "no" as I already have all of them and they are GOTY versions where available, and all are still installed except for Arena, I never played it.

Yeah but the money they would make would be immense i mean they could charge full price if they really wanted for both morrowind and oblivion and then charge like 20 bucks for the earlier and don't make them like skyrim just make them easier to play and a little nicer on the eye i think would pay off in the end

I wouldn't mind an officially updated Morrowind at least. Oblivion is too recent to be interesting to me... although it needs a graphics overhaul more than even Morrowind imo (Morrowind had inferior tech, but better designs imo).

I would first love to play morrowind again with a few of the upgrades we have seen in Oblivion and Skyrim (without modding and on a console). Things like the compass and a better fast travel system.
If the other older titles we in the package as well, it would be an easy purchase to make.
