My main reason wasn't the mods. I only modded FO3, I hardly touched FONV. The reason was FO3GoTY's constant glitches, fps drops and freezes drove me to insanity. If Fallout works on the PS3, it's quite enjoyable actually. I'm not mad about it anymore I think the game engine just isn't compatible with the PS3 hardware. I sincerely believe gamesas done their best. Although there were days I could VATS a staff member over these issues. :laugh:

This playthrough I'm running in the area of 20 mods ... so ... PC and happy.

PC, as I have for Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind. I wouldn't want it any other way.

I have it on PS3, I wish it was on PC, I wouldnt use the nexus, I have alot of things I wish I could add with the GECK.

PC, and already have mods to take care of almost all the things that bother me in the game. I couldn't imagine playing this on my PS3.

Mind you, there are games i play on PS3 i simply couldn't play on PC too, such as Wipeout. Also i prefer third person shooters on consoles.

im a huge PC fanperson. however, i prefer some games on consoles over PC. for some reason i HATE steering wheels and prefer controllers in racing games. i also like some of the silly games from wii like raymans rabbits and wii sports..............yes believe it or not some of us still play with are wiis.

I don't have a gaming pc. Though in the future, when i do get a gaming PC... Fallout New Vegas is the first game i'm picking up.

Well we post more than just the CPU specs. Graphics cards are equally if not more important.

I hate to sound like an [censored] but everyone who claims to build their pc, is infact not. All you custom pc users are doing is assembling manufactured parts. You're not fabricating your own circut boards or building fans from scratch are you? If you're not, then don't say you built your computer, it just sounds cocky.

Thats a very good point, and as a pc builder I agree to some of what you say, but as someone who has taken a soldering iron to building my pc and modifying the setup to use two power supplies, I'd say I built mine, it's all relative, and I'm sure model kit builders would disagree with your view.

Console - An Xbox. Im happy with it, but I would rather a PC copy if I had an appropriate gaming PC. Purely because of the community mods.

I have it on the xbox 360. If I had my PC setup (was a top spec gaming rig but haven't even unpacked it since I moved a couple of years ago) I would probably have got the PC version just because there are some amazing mods for it.

Having said that though I'm quite happy with the xbox version. Yes the mods would be nice but consoles are a lot easier. When I just get 20 minutes to waste I can quickly chuck the xbox on. With a PC you have to wait for it to boot up, then load the game, then when your finished shut everything down again. Yes I could set my PC up so I could play it from my sofa but that is again extra hassle that I just can't be bothered with.

So long story short, PC version has a lot more going for it but it also takes more time and effort then a console. Also I work with PC's and tech all day long. Last thing I can be bothered to do when I get home is play on a PC.

We do build them. Unless someone puts it together, it's nothing more than a bunch of parts. Did you know all the big car companies use 3rd party manufacturers to build some of the parts they use? Does that mean they don't build their vehicles? Of course not.

I play on the 360 and enjoy it. It makes it easier for my girlfriend to sit on the couch with me and watch me play (which she enjoys) and I just find Fallout to be more of a couch game. I prefer The Elder Scrolls on the PC for a reason I can't really describe (or I don't even know why). I recently rented Oblivion for the 360 through GameFly and have been messing around with it for achievements but I'm wishing I could be playing it again on the PC lol).

Doing fine on the PS3 version, some minor glitches and slowdowns, no game killing bugs after 80+ hours of gameplay. Would love to play on the PC eventually for the mods and such, but for the first few playthroughs at least I like to keep it vanilla and the console is a good way avoiding the early temptation of bringing mods and using the console commands to get a crapload of early caps and gear.

On the PC and happy about it. Most bugs will get fixed by the modders well before Bethesda gets to it (If Bethesda gets to it).

I had FO3 on the PS3 then on the PC because of the grandeur-illusion that DLC was never going to come to PS3 - no I am not being naive, that was the intention of several developers interview transcripts.

I haven't and will not do it with F:NV however I do miss the console command, abandoned BoS Bunker locked; some lost NPCs; bugged NPCs etc; where it would be very useful. The other spectrum is that on the PC I abused the console a little too much because of so much access so I like that in the PS3 I am building my character up.

Notably, I think the problems and the frequency of said problems were similar to both platforms prior to any extensive patches.
