Yeah, about "wiping the slate clean and just being free". Anarchy seems cool in theory, but in reality it's; [censored] gangs, starving children, dead loved ones, etc. Think about it, most of us can't stand it if we don't have any hot water for a few days. And besides in real life nuclear armagedon isn't so neat and tidy as in the Fallout Universe. We have no Rad-X or Radaway, and radiation dosn't cause neat mutations it causes a brutally painful death or at best cancer. As for zombies, watch AMC's The Walking Dead, it pretty much shows how much a zombie apocalypse would svck. Don't get me wrong, in video games, movies, etc., I love a good apocalypse story. However, I don't think I would ever use the word "appealing".
I've "lived" in Afghanistan for a year without always having hot water (or any water for that matter), not having hot food, not having a roof over my head, constantly having to be alert for enemies, etc etc... I think I could live without those "essentials" because truth be told, they're not as essential as everyone seems to think while they're sitting on their cushy couches watching TV.
Nuclear apocalypse would definitely svck for sure, really not many pros about that. :lmao:
Zombie apocalypse I've wanted for a long time, I welcome it...
hope for it even. As long as whatever is zombifying people isn't some kind of airborne virus and much like the movies is only transmitted intravenously, we're good to go. Definitely be wiping the slate clean then, survival of the fittest to the extreme of potential extinction... I like the odds personally.
