If you were in Skyrim, how far would you make it?

I would become a peaceful alchemist in Whiterun. Assuming I didn't get eaten by the first wolf I encountered along the way.

If the OP's idea is that we were in Skyrim as us, some of us might get lucky and survive the dragon attack on Helgen, and maybe even get lucky and get out of the place alive...but every damn one of us would be dead of severe dehydration 24 hours after eating the local food, most likely. Lack of immunities to local microflora, combined with poor local hygiene practices, would get every the damn one of us real quick-like.

Marry a hunter wife and be the fisherman/farmer in Rorikstead. I then befriend all the giants and pay them a small comission of my crops to keep me safe and have a friendly business venture with a few Argonians for under water treasure hunting. Also I would put a bounty on every Redguards head...

I hear they prefer live cattle, personally delivered by the farmer...

I reckon when the first surprise trap smacked me over the head when I opened a chest in a dungeon or when the sabretooth tiger attacked at level 2 and there was no where to run, or when the Dragon breathed fire all over me.

I'd think I would last awhile if I managed to get to a Khajiit caravan, those Khajiit always seem to avoid danger.

Books? You eat those right?

Nope I read the book's and eat the bunnies I shoot with my bow when I'm out ingredient hunting, course one of those deer or elk would alow me to read at least two thick books before I had to go shoot something else. No i'm not that slow of a reader, but it does take time to tan and make leather cloths/armor.

I'd freeze to death on the road from Helgen to Riverwood after trying to catch something called a Salmon and find out that water with chill factor during winter, isn't a great idea while not being prepared for it.

Oblivion and the Mundas will fall at my feet, then I will drag Magnus from the sky then, I will claim Aetherius for myself, oh yeah I will absorb that magicka instead of it dissolving me.

Well I'd run like hell down the road, make my way to Windhelm, make advances at Ulfric and spend the rest of my time in his bed.

or marry that orc in the stronghold, and he can protect me :D and I would just spend all day picking flowers and butterfly wings and making healing potions, those sell well and will keep me healthy :P

Depends on whether or not I'm the Dragonborn.Do I get to pick my race,or am I stuck as a human from our world?

If I pick my own race,I'd probably be a Breton. If I'm the Dragonborn,I think the power would go to my head and the civil war would end with everyone unting to track me down and kill me. D:
I might try and ghost Alduin before I went on my own quest for world domination, but I can't say for sure. lol

Stuck as a human from our world without the blood of a dragon,I'd be dead on the way to Helgen. One of the Legion would have used me to sight in their new bow. u.u

I would never have been caught in the first place!

Then I would have made my way to Markarth, moved into the abandonned house, and and hang out with Hroki to buy the bloodiest beef in the reach.

I would have died in the forest somewhere after I had jumped off the cart and ran like hell into the trees.

i agree. im 250 pounds, work out, taken martial arts, lots of barfights, shot guns (not alot but some) and yet if i see a spider or especially a centipede i have to get my girlfriend to kill it. she has that eye rolling thing down to a science now.
