Your worst quests?

Thx, I took the plunge and did the mod but must leave where I am now to start the quest. Problem is I have no idea how to finish where I am now, but that's another issue.

Unfortunately, you can't get past the outer/first courtyard after the quest. There's even an invisible blocking object at one of the fences over which we can easily jump.
In 1.4 the stone Barenziah got moved into the cave exit. It is possible to enter it again by using fus ro dah after climbing up a log in the cave which enables you to enter up the trapdoor. I even managed to kill the thalmor woman who hosted the party. I was actually surprised she remained in the embassy after the quest.

You can also get up the back way through the exit cave.

I found the whole civil war pretty much sickening.
This, but it wasn't sickening as I figure it as much as it was kind of a let-down. I thought every other mission or so would be raiding a town rather than the last one and the attack/defense of Whiterun. >:

I tried that once, but couldn't get up the log. I was able to jump up through the hole, but once I got to the top I just clipped through the world and ended up back in the cave.

I was able to get back in to the inner courtyard on Shadowmere and some related areas, but where was Elewen? :o I never saw her.

Whispering Door has to be the worst quest due to the fact that it's a daedric quest. If that quest wasn't a Daedric quest then it wouldn't be as bad.

Mind Of Madness is also another one, only good part about that quest is Sheogorath.

The main story quest.

I killed Alduin the same way I killed a Troll or Bear. Hit elemental fury, two daggers, and mash right click. Didn't get any loot from Alduin either.

Kingdom doesn't care I saved the world and Delphine is a stingy hag because I don't want to kill Parthunax. It just left a bitter taste in my mouth that I have no leverage in the world even after saving the damned world.

So after doing all of the above it is hard to go back to doing normal quests. So yeah, since then I've put Skyrim away for a bit. I'll probably go back later because it is still the best game to be launched in this Adventure, epic open world sort of genre.

Just disappointed.

Though I really like No One Escapes Cidna mine, I hate The Forsworn Conspiracy. It depopulates Markarth too much.

Under Sarthaal is pretty bad too, not the quest itself, but how it's required for one of the best quests in the game (Forbidden Legend) and how it represents the poor pacing of the College of Winterhold.

Well it took me while to whirlwind sprint across but I managed it. It was pretty frustrating though. I was searching for the stone inside the embassy when I saw elenwen sleeping in her bed so I attacked her and she died. I was wondering whether it would be posible to kill her before the season unending quest (that is if you do it) because she might not turn up for the treaty. I suspect that I could kill her because I had killed her after completing all the quests she was involved with and so was no longer an immortal quest related character. She was inside the embassy itself. When you do the horse glitch can you get inside the building or just inside the courtyard/outside bit?

You don't have to. You can kill the woman instead, and the priests rewards yuo afterwards. Of course everyone except the priest becomes hostile and Markarth becomes a ghost town :hehe:

Play a wood elf - if you follow the wood elf religion, you already are a cannibal. :)

I bet that's it because when I went back the only live NPCs were in the courtyards. The Wizards and Soldiers in the outer courtyard weren't hostile to me and said weird things like: "You're the one that hurt me before." When I jumped the fence the ones in the inner courtyard went 'red dot' on me and Mjoll stayed in the outer courtyard and killed the Wizards and Soldiers that went hostile after the inner ones went hostile on me.

Inside the buildings were the corpses that remained as I left them from Diplomatic Immunity. Mjoll did not appear with me in the Solar and she wouldn't follow me everywhere in the main Embassy building - she literally stopped in some of the hallways and wouldn't follow me. The same doors were locked as when I did Diplomatic Immunity and I couldn't get into the 'reception' room.

So, Elenwen was in the main Building of the Embassy or was she in her Solar?

I can't remember. I think the main building in one of the bedrooms near where you find the stone of Barenziah. I will have to check it out again and try and get back in. I'm guessing that Elenwen was sent to the embassy after the season unending quest. I'll have to test it but I'm not sure she will be there after the diplomatic immunity quest.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not gonna' do Season Unending, but she may be there in my game after I pass the point where Season Unending isn't an option during the normal CW quest. :P

The only cure...
Because the enemies spewing green stomach filth at you every 2 seconds was absolutely disgusting and irritating, and the reward at the end of the long quest... It was nice, but I was a 2H user...

I remember the only cure as a long quest, and it was fun for me. And the Aflictied puking poison, I didn't get scared or discusted by it, because I was using a sneaky bow ;)

What is the worsest quest you have ever done?

My probably is 'no stone unturned' which requires you to find 24 gem stones around skyrim, tedious

Another one which requires you to do 5 quests for theives guild on the certain cities to work your way up to be a guild master, boring.

Last one, were you have to collect 30 Crimson Nirmroots scattered around blackreach.(forgot the name of it)

I agree with all of these. I was totally disappointed with the "reward" for spending all that time finding those Nirnroots!!!
