I'm waiting for a patch, I can't play MP, always disconnected...

I'm definitely waiting for a patch. In my eyes, the "PC" version still hasn't released.

But im playing sometimes for a brief minutes in SP.

I pre-ordered Crysis 2 and was unable to play it the first couple days. After I started to see reviews and feedback on the forums I decided to hold off for a patch. I got impatient last night and decided to play the game and was extremely dissapointed with many of the changes from the original Crysis + Warhead and will continue to wait in hopes that the long list of limited options will get fixed (not only but including DX11). I'm curious who else has chosen to wait and/or who is playing regardless.

Personally I'm not frothing at the mouth for DX11 but I do want:

-Lean / Prone
-Advances Graphics Options
-Access to console settings
-Fix the movement and jump latency

And there's lean except it's considered as "dynamic" lean. I like the free lean better tho....

Prone would be terrible for the style of pace and action Crysis 2 is.

I ordered my copy in a store with a 10 days delivery time, so probably many patches will be released before I get it...

Waiting for a patch, played the SP a bit but i really want to push the game and my computer. Im probably not goign to play it again until DX11 comes out, if they dont release DX11 then i wont be buying another game associated to Crytek. Feel very dissapointed after sticking up for them across a number of forums when the leak happened.

At this point it would be nice to at least have an official announcement saying what will and wont be implimented for PC Crysis 2 gamers in the future.

I've gotten no more than a little over an hour into the game so maybe you're right that prone wouldn't be that useful but sometimes it's just fun to crawl around and take guys out silently. I like to take my time and inch my way though levels sometimes...it was an option with the first two that I loved.

Can you PM me the movement fix? That's gonna drive me mad.

I completely agree. It's difficult to not have more communication going on. We gotta keep telling them what we want and hope that will shape the final product they want to patch for us.

Waiting for a patch... theres way too many hacker with free version playing... I cant compete with a guy that can fly... I regret buying this game...

I wont buy another game that use gamespy... why should I pay 60$ for a game when most user just use a random key and it work?

I'm waiting for the AI Fix, its so freaking dump. It doesn't even understand that it should walk around the pillar.

Dont get me started about plastic tents not exploding when you detonate some bomb to create a distraction for dr ghoul.

"V for stealth kill" not showing when you die and reload the last save.

Alien catalyst points not collecting when it should or loosing them all when you quit the game

Not sure why you people want lean and prone. The game isn't balanced for it. No this isnt the mw2 meme im talking about here, it's obvious that the game was meant to be fastpaced and fluid and lean and prone have no place in it.

And even if you disagree, there is no hope these things will ever make it into the mplayer. How exactly would you bind lean? where would you put armor and cloak then? As it is they are in the best possible spot.

I've always accessed my suit powers via my mouse buttons. I have a gaming mouse so I have several to choose from. There are plenty of keys to bind them to anyhow...Crysis 1 and WH worked perfectly for me. I'm sure we won't be getting the old suit power set up with speed and strength seperate but those added more options and I personally like utilizing them and customizing my fighting style with each and there's plenty of comfort with all those options available.

Saying they're in the best possible spot is your option but it feels limiting to me. I would just like more options and ways to play and immerse me in the game more. Personally it makes me feel like it was built to hold my hand and simplify everything....as if it were complicated in the first place. When it comes down to it, the console controllers don't have enough buttons to incorporate all the features but these are the very things that make games like STALKER and CRYSIS etc what their known for gameplay wise on the PC. Anyway, options, options and more options please!!!

Played it on 360 and beat it. Enjoyed the hell out of it. GOTY! I bought it on PC for the multi-player (cause I dont care for LIVE) and higher quality graphics.

Multi-player doesnt work at all and I question whether I got any improvement graphically vs the 360. IMO Crysis is the prettiest game yet for Xbox.Should be phenomenal on PC but I just dont see much of a difference (besides resolution) on my Kick-Ass PC.

I wish I could play. It's frustrating to see so many people here bich about lack of DX11 or GFX settings or multiplayer etc. I have the ATI flickering screen issue and cannot in all honesty play the game for more then 5 minutes without getting a headache.

So yea i'm definately waiting for the patch, I have no choice really. I hope it fixes multi GPU support.

Had the game for a week and frankly, after spending most of said week in these forums, it's kind of taken away the enthusiasm for actually playing when it's fixed...

WAITING. I got an I7930 @4.2ghz. 6gb ram, 2x 570 Twin Razr and an SSD intel x25m. Just upgraded the vga's... i was sure to get my hands on a true Crysis. I will not play a game i could play 1:1 on my dusty xbox360. Shame on you Crytek, you are what you are thank to us, once you distinguished from the mass of software houses for the outstanding quality, now youre just one of the many.

I have only seen videos and screen shot comparisons but they look too similar for my standards. In the short time I played I was more dissappointed then anything. In Crysis 1 and WH there were seriously WOW moments in every level. When I went through this everything looked like a static picture with no life. They have trees that sway and garbage floating around but so does GOW, COD etc etc. None of it reacts to anything either ie grenades, exploding barrels etc. Everything was alive in the first two and I understand that it was a jungle and this is a city but...it's a destroyed city, there's so many things that could have been malleable and destructable.

I just hope the patches add in more physx effects, destructibility and better textures too.

Well, I do play the SP as that works just fine already. Going to get all collectables in my next play-throughs (while on Post-Human, I going just screw them).
The MP however, I wait until the issues are fixed with the EXP and unlocks. Also, I hope I can choose to toggle crouching and aiming ingame rather using startup-commands (as for crouching, it currently doesn't work) and maybe hope to get the female suit-voice back, too.

Graphical settings I don't care about as I would have set everything to "high" only, anyway and with the current way, I can do it with one button. I don't need the advanced settings right now.

The game is great however the graphics sadly is console port. I did not spend a lot of cash for my pc gaming rig just to get a console port graphics otherwise i would have just purchase a PS3 which is definitely a lllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooootttttttttttttttttt cheaper than a high end pc gaming rig. I hope Crytek would release a patch asap. But as observe by some the indifference or silence of Crytek could possibly mean there would be no DX11 patch. Then just have to wait for other great games like Battlefield 3 and Deus Ex or Witcher 2

The Singelplayer was fun, but the Multiplayer is a big problem. First half of the servers just didn′t start the game, and now the server are working but every single game is full of cheater. It′s so bad that there is no point in playing any further.

Forget about DX11 or some of the low textures used in crysis2 the game still looks great. Don′t waste time with that **** before you fixed the Multiplayer, it shoudn′t be possible to play with the cracked game on a legit server and put punkbuster or anything against cheats in the game because otherwise this Game is after a week already dead.

Performance is kinda.... not sooooo good on my hardware so I need a patch to even hope to play MP (10FPS + motion blur does not make for good killing)
