I hope they do that thing that they're going to do with assassin's creed brotherhood where they let you buy the game and then at a certain date if you have the game then you can play the beta.

Now what would be the Crysis 2 if they let you buy the full retail game now and after that you can play the beta? First thing would be that they would lose not only buyers but players as well...I'd never buy game before the final release. Preorder it, download demo before final release, or wait till march 2011 to buy it...

That I can live with... Since I already preordered it via brother in America, and by judge of demo gameplay on youtube, the game will rock the world, and since I know it will be a good game with a really good storyline there's no need to cancel preorder now...

Have to see it to believe it. You'll most likely see a demo first. Enough about Beta please.

Oh, Hell! Why can't we just have an open beta/demo on all platforms instead of all this stupid crap, such as:

'closed beta - maybe'...

'maybe an Xbox 360 exclusive'...

'sometime this year...' '

'maybe a pc beta later this year'

'sorry, no details at this time'

So much uncertainty and secrecy.

SO many people's questions would be answered without Crytek having to say anything (The game says it all)... Especially detailed ones like "Is it possible to disable X option?" or "Can you destroy walls in buildings?". Those two questions would be answered within minutes of playing the game.

It would also add higher quality (1080p, for example) footage to YouTube, to REALLY show off the graphics. Quite honestly, I am fed up with seeing ONLY Xbox 360 and PS3 footage in 720p with no AA on YouTube (With the exception of a very small number of short clips). I want some PC gameplay footage in full resolution, please!

Just give us a couple of the multiplayer levels, and some singleplayer (The ones we have already seen, perhaps?).

By releasing a beta/demo, you would also regain many if not all of the potential buyers you lost if you manage to impress them with the multiplayer experience. Especially after that little 6v6 multiplayer thing that turned people off the game.

You told us to wait and see how good the MP would be, now this is your chance. I doubt many people will buy the game just to see if the multiplayer is any good despite the unusual choice of map size and player cap.

The earlier they give us a beta the better off he original will be, they should have learned by now that many games that do not release a beta especially for multi-player have balancing issues, glitches, cheats, etc.
Take for instance MW2 Multi-player it had C130 bug, Javelin Glitch, Gun Balancing Issues, Map Exploits, Tactical Insertion Cheaters, etc. People are still finding ways to exploit that game! Crysis 2 will be no different if they don't get on the ball soon.

You ask for too much from a game that is still 6 months from release. Crytek is on a tight gag order from EA, they will release information closer to release when they are allowed to.

What if they distribute 360 keys to members whom have no 360 to test it on for them? How have they considered this?

unless u had atleast 10x as many posts on the other account as this one, i wouldnt be too worried about missin out cuz they wouldnt have picked u if they really are picking based on their tracking stats. And no1 has gotten any form of info on being picked or anything so far. The Beta is still just a big ol' rumour started by Crytek with the gamesas relaunch.
