Beta is starting soon, and some of you guys should receive an email. Beta is starting on 360 first, but I have a feeling more tests will be done in due course.

Is beta inclusion really based on posts? My friend just got a beta application in his inbox and he's never posted on here. Has anybody else received something in their e-mail?

As far as I know, I was one of the first members registered on the new Crysis 2 website, but I wasn't aware about any additional criteria.

Has EA or Crytek mentioned ANYTHING about the beta since it's E3 announcement?

Crytek has started to send out E-mails to selected gamesas community members inviting a group of lucky ones with an Xbox 360 and a gold account to a closed Crysis 2 multiplayer test.


Crytek community manager Cry-Lee has made a post on gamesas forums with additional information stating that "this is not the Beta that people signed up to the website for, that will be happening later" and that "this is mainly to 'stress test' our servers and to see how the game reacts to X amount of users playing it at once".


So, keep checking your gamesas E-mail box for a possible invitation in the near future!
