Have to correct myself actually. The weapon I was talking about is a Sarissa, not a pike. Very similar, but not quite the same. If you wanna get technical of course. I dont. They're both long poles that poke things, lol. Just stating so no one calls me out.
Was originally used to counter the phalanx used by the greeks. Phillip thought. How do I defeat a tight formation with big sticks? Get bigger sticks! And cavalry. Men dont do well on foot against cavalry..
Did you watch Walking Dead last night then the show after it called Talking Dead?.......
Very much excited. If this is true (and there's every reason to believe it is, including the fact I too temporarily opted into the beta and opened the Translate file with my own eyes), it solves a few of the complaints I had with Skyrim's lore- namely, more information on what happened to Morrowind during and after the Red Year.
Does this mean we can go to Morrowind? Because that's what it sounds like, a new province to explore would be cool also.
No...well...maybe. Vvardenfell=no. It's pretty burned and full of ash right now (most likely). Mainland Morrowind might be a possibility. We could maybe see the northern tip of Morrowind through the pass by Windhelm, go to a town there, and catch a boat to Solstheim. More likely though, we will not be going to any part of Morrowind and instead just catch a trading vessel from Windhelm to Solstheim.
It could actually be the entire dev team looking at the forums by gathering around a fellow co worker's PC. Just sayin'
Laughing at us right now for getting our hopes up no doubt, tomorrow they will probably release a statement saying that there isn't going to be anymore dlc.
What was this thread even about? I got here at like page 3 and posts are coming in at like 3-4 per minute.
Edit: I played it risky and peaked back to page one. Looks like it's some sort of DLC speculation and rumors.
I don't like speculation. Not just for DLC, but when it comes to anything really.
This is really a little more than speculation, this is evidence gathered from the 1.8 beta released today, and matched perfectly with the trademark filed for "Dragonborn" leading this to likely be the next DLC. At this point it would be very unlikely for this to not be the next DLC.
Does this speculation have any credibility? I remember a thread like this popped up before Hearthfire came out and it was trying to give us evidence that it would be all based around magic.
Edit: Totally ninja'd. I posted this before noticing and reading the above comment.

These are game files that popped up with the 1.8 Beta update. I've seen them for myself.
