I didnt mind since I never use the roads anyway, unless I had to. As for mountain paths, horse physics for the win! I prefer walking, but Arvak is perfect since I can summon him whenevs, and use him for the sole purpose of climbing mountains.
hehe lol im glad we got arvak im about to do an rp based loosly on archaon the everchosen from warhammer and im trying to decide on using him or shadowmere

I didn't realize turning it off added detailed text into his journal. Oh, wait..

If you don't want to argue with him about it, stop arguing with him about it.

lol.

I used the roads because that's how I determined distance. Now I rarely fast travel, unless where I have to go is super super far away. And if I already have a cluster of places I have found and don't want to do exploring I fast travel to the place I have to go the closest marker I have. Roads help determine the distance of these places.

i totally agree OP. Bethesda is going for the audience who like the big action and want everything as soon as they start the game. Like you save Harkons daughter and you get the gift of becoming a Vampire Lord? that easily? wow. The stories are terrible anymore, and they can't even back it up with decent gameplay. Everything gets old after the first hour of playing. Beth has some good P/R, but their writing is god awful. As a long time Elder Scrolls fan, I am upset because I've always had faith in them to produce a game that didn't have to appeal to the COD crowd and big action game crowds, I always liked how they did their own thing and if people didn't like it to bad. Now, it's all about money to them which svcks. They're all about gimmicks, First it was dragons, then vampire lords. Wonder what they'll come up with for the next DLC or TES 6. Bah, time to end my rant and go back to playing Oblivion and Fallout NV......

Well what these people are going to tell you is that they don't like COD. And you're comment will wound them deeply. I agree with your statement. I feel Skyrim is the COD of the Elder Scroll series. It really is.

Killing the emeperor was the only memorable thing in Skyrim's dark brotherhood. And even that was poorly executed. What were you playing the game on? Cause there were to many dudes to sneak around and it was so damn bright in the boat.

Oblivion had several, the Who Dun It quest was simply amazing, the Bruma kill to make it look like an accident, sneaking into the fort to exchange the medicine with poison.

Oblivion, "We are not murders. We are artisans of death." is the feel I got from the Brotherhood.

Skyrim, "Just stab some people and call ourselves assassins," is the feel I got from the Skyrim of Brotherhood.

This a million times.

A quest that stuck with me for a long time from Oblivion was Paranoia, remember that crazy Bosmer from Skingrad. That quest was intersting, and unlike Skyrim quests, there were multiple ways to end it. I think another problem lies in the journal of Skyrim. All it is, is one blurb and that's all you get throughout teh quest. Yes, the quest updates, but in a tiny little point form message, whereas Oblivion had popups with more detail.

I like COD games (only from infinity ward), and I also like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I dont get the comparison of Skyrim to COD.

Paranoia is one of my favorite quest in Oblivion.

Really? It was boring to me after the first time. The first time I just found it mildly interesting. One of my favorites was the quest where you're trapped on that island designed for people to do human hunts, and you needed to find that woman's husband from Bruma. Also the one where you go into the dream world. That was really cool.

I like the painting one as well. But Paranoia was fun because I liked the wood elf.

I've done this multiple times. Every now and then, I will go back to the pool to check if he is there and there is nothing. It's been longer than 15 days. Been months.

I actually thought he just spawned where he died and then stayed there and waited for you.

No.

Very true.

But as stated back before. The Argument is always been about stuff.

I want quality. Not just stuff.

I know it does not even affect the Civil war, even those the Empire likely reaction to his death should be to bring more troops from the border to Skyrim and hunt down the Dark Brotherhood dooming them as there hideout is not well hidden.
