Quests:
-I've collected every piece of Gauldur's amulet, but the quest isn't moving forward; there's no new goal. It shows all the quest goals up to that point as completed, but the quest is in the incomplete section and I don't have any way to combine the amulet fragments.

EDIT: Doing some Googling, it looks like this is because I've already been to Reachwater Rock and picked up the Ivory Claw. I'll head there and finish the quest if I'm able.

Quest Bug - Disrupt the Skooma trade.

Bug in Question: Did the quest properly with my Mage character first, worked fine. However, When i did it with my argonian fighter, i did it after Maven became the Jarl (Joined the Imperials). When handing in the quest after clearing the cavern, she has the dialogue but i did not get promoted to thane, nor did i get any reward, and the quest was incomplete in the misc tab, although no further dialogue is possible.

While not technically a bug, it sure is an oversight. The barrels in your apprentice quarters in winterhold college are not safe. Just found out i had lost all my alchemy ingredients stashed in one, and lots of spare jewelery i had in another for enchanting purposes. Dunno why they would put respawning containers in "your" room.

* The Atronach forge sometimes has problems with spawning the crafted items - eg a crafted pair of Daedric Boots that when picked up added nothing to the player inventory.
-- Did some research on this. Someone found out that the Daedric boots being spawned are actually the Daedra Markyneth's NPC equipment boots, and are therefore unusable by the player.

New bug:
Sometimes super flat objects (East Empire trading map, Map of dragon burial grounds) placed on tables in PC houses will fall through the table, floors, surfaces everytime the player enters the house. The dragon burial map is especially guilty of this - I've literally seen mine eat its way through from the top floor table to the basemant floor.

@ChillWill - I believe the Hall of Attainment still counts as a non-player cell (which will certainly reset over time), similar to any other non PC-house cell.

I might have missed these on the buglist but:

"Forsworn Conspiracy" - You don't receive any quest items when you get your items back from Madanach at the end of this quest, which obviously breaks every other quest you had open with quest items.

"A Night To Remember" - Horrible, horrible persistent bright yellow/white effects white out the screen when you pick up the "Staff Repair Instructions" note, which makes it extremely difficult to see to complete the dialogue and leave the room to reset the effects. Windows 7 Professional with the latest updates, Catalyst 11.10, Sapphire Radeon 5850 VaporX 1GB.

Going to add my bug list here in the hopes that this thread is more noticeable. Sorry if any are redundant.

Just a couple of issues I hope get resolved that I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere:

Blessings of Nature
I completed the quest by supplying the priest in Whiterun with a sapling. There is now a sapling growing from inside the old, dead Gildergreen in Whiterun.

Stealing Plans
I waited to complete this mission until I was talked to by Kodlak and given the quest involving retrieving a witch's head. I then went to complete Stealing Plans but there were no plans in the Silver Hand's hideout, as such it cannot be completed but neither was it considered failed.

Kill Petra
A hargrave in a tower near Markarth asked me to kill another hargrave named Petra who had taken the tower from the former and I was given a quest to kill Petra. I did not release the caged hargrave but went on to kill Petra, which did not complete the quest. I then went down to the first hargrave, released her, resurrected Petra with the console, and then killed Petra. This completed the quest.

Promises to Keep
There is a hidden objective to tell Maven about the plan, which I did after speaking to Sibbi, and doing this completes either "Steal Frost" or "Steal Frost's Lineage Papers." Continuing the quest seems to ignore the fact that you told Maven.

Return to the Jarl of Riften
Under misc. is now a dead end. The marker now points to the Jarl but I cannot interact with her to complete the quest. I believe the most recent quest interaction with her was her telling my to buy a house in Riften, which I did after travelling briefly to acquire enough gold to do so. This seems to be the thane of Riften glitch.

Vigilance (the dog)
If told to return home, he returns to his original owner at Markarth and must be re-purchased. It is not suggested that he is a mercenary when paying. In fact it is said that he will "follow you to Oblivion and back."

Disarmed Weapons Commonly Lose Custom Names
Noticed this when Red Eagle disarmed me. My enchanted Blades Sword named 'Kitetsu' was disarmed. When I picked it back up, it was named 'Blades Sword'.

Facial Glitch
I checked and, if the furthest left no facial hair option is numbered 1, then options 3-10, 24-30, and 38-43 have this glitch.

Some Enchanted Items Mislabeled
This was at a vendor. I've seen it on my friend's Xbox version as well.

Upside-Down Floating Horse
Near Azura's Shrine. I've also seen mammoths fall from the sky and far enough to kill them.

Updated to here now at 427 listed - At this rate we'll have 500+ listed before the first real patch has even been released! :D

Thanks for continued reports & bumps.
What's sad is that some of these are obvious bugs that should have been fixed before the game shipped...damned shoddy workmanship. I hope the people reponsible, whoever they may be, feel appropriately shamed by their obvious lack of work ethics.

My bug: The Sneak skill is broken. After reaching 100, you are detected by nearly everything around you with no effort, from shooting an enemy to simply moving around. Before level 100, you could be inches from an enemy after shooting him, causing him to go into search mode and they would still be unable to find you. After 100, this is not the case. This does not matter whether it's dark, daylight, inside, outside, brightly lit, in shadows, etc. It is also very inconsistant. You still register Sneak attacks, even while being detected. Very odd bug, and is making playing the Thieves Guild quests nearly impossible (I'm assuming it will make the Dark Brotherhood ones equally as difficult).

In Whiterun today. Picked up a torch I had dropped and put it in a barrel to neaten up the world. Went to Warmaiden to talk to the sales lady-smithy. Opened her inventory and she had apparel and food, not her regular stuff at all. Closed her inventory and then the only conversation she had was "What can you tell me about Whiterun". She then walked away from her area. I left and got killed by a giant. Reloaded the save and left the torch where it was this time, everything was normal. Bought some things from her.

Well cell ownership should not matter, all containers have a toggle for respawning in the toolset, so it is up to the designer to choose which ones should and should not respawn. So it's just sloppy in my opinion. When you make a room meant for the player then respawn containers are a no no. Anyway probably something that will be fixed in unofficial patch.

* Giants can launch the player hundreds of feet into the air like a rocketship in a single-hit (20 feet in the air would be fine, but they can hit you higher than the throat of the world mountain).

This is a "feature" not a bug. I specifically read about this somewhere and Bethesda explicitly stated this was a "fun" thing and left it in.

And frankly I agree with it. It's a friggin GIANT. If King Kong smashed me with a telephone pole it would not shock me that I went flying like a piece of paper in the wind. I think that applies. Giants are wielding what are basically Tree's for weapons.

Techincally I see what you mean though, as there should be some reasonable limit on how high you go, not that you get knocked up at all. But they definitely knew about this one based on what I read and left it in.

Three bugs:

Diagonal walking animation is bugged. At least on female nords. It's not smooth but skips at the end of each animation cycle.

Turning while walking or running is not smooth either. Your shoulders blink immediately to their new position when you turn. This does not happen when you're standing still before moving.

Initiating walking or running is lagging in 3rd person view. When you press "W" for example to go forwards, for about 0.3 seconds your character stands completely still without doing absolutely nothing. This does not happen in 1st person view, where you move immediately when you press "W".

[On my laptop..] The only city with really bad FPS hits is Markarth. I drop as low as 15fps in various areas of the city, the only other area under a Dwemer ruin with all the shadows and dayglow colors [can't recall name... black[something]. I usually stay above 25fps othewise, which is good enough. If Markarth could be optimized better that would be great, it really needs it and more than the others.]

Read on these forums that the CPU does shadow, don't know if I believe it. My laptop CPU isn't bad [i7 720QM 1.6-2.8GHz] and it looks like Skyrim is using all four physical cores, though only 20-60%. A few of the hyperthreaded cores show some use as well [http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/213/skyrimcpu2.gif/].

Another one: I have some quests on my list that are still there despite being completed. What's more interresting I'm the leader of Companions but I still have a quest to talk to the Companions leader to join their ranks.

An assault on Fort Snowhawk brought a few problems to light. A couple are related directly to Snowhawk, and a couple are general problems:

- The back door leading into the fort is a smaller arched door from the outside, but it's a larger gate-type door from the inside.

- In the Fort Commander's room, there were two chests overlapping one another at the foot of his bed. It looked like one chest, and I wouldn't have noticed it but for the fact that one of the chests was locked and one was not. Moving the pointer around the chest showed a regular 'Open Chest' action an 'Unlock Chest' action. Each had separate sets of loot. This might be a problem specific to that one chest, or it might be a problem with the game's spawning system. Leads me to wonder if this happens with containers more frequently and I just don't notice it because neither one is locked.

- Shouts will sometimes lock up. I press the shout key and nothing happens. If I look at my shout list, all of the shouts are greyed out, and clicking on any them produces a message like 'You cannot perform a shout while shouting.' Several seconds can then pass before the shout is fired off; by then, it's usually too late to do any good. This seems to occur if I shout too soon after making an attack, suggesting it's an animation problem. This spoiled my attempt to use Storm Call as I stormed Snowhawk. :(

- Enemy NPC's getting out of a chair or a bed when you're approaching them looks and plays awkward. They get up very slowly, just like any NPC would get out of a chair or bed. Doesn't exactly capture the kind of urgency a person would show if an armed foe is approaching. Speeding up the NPC's movement as they get up would seem like a fair solution to this, even if that would make the animation look a little Benny Hillish.

- Vilkas is no longer giving me work. I cannot get a radiant quest from him nor have I been able to get the quest to cure his lycanthropy. I've cured Farkas'; both he and Aela are still giving me work. When I speak to Vilkas, though, there is no 'I'm looking for work' option. I did manage to get one Family Heirloom quest from him after being named Harbinger, but no luck since. No idea what might have triggered this.

Edit: 'Ask the Companion leaders for work' still shows a marker over Vilkas' head

The silent assassination kill view (when killing an enemy from behind and unaware) shows the blade cutting across the enemy's forehead as opposed to his throat. There are 2 such clips, one with frontal view is fine, the one with the view from the back has this issue.

Silent roll is performed continuously when weapon is drawn and in 1st person. When in 3rd person or if weapon is sheathed, you cannot do more than 1 roll holding the sprint key down.

1) Here's one I've been witnessing consistently since I started playing: After a I've been playing for a bit, fire effects are no longer visible. For example I was walking over pressure plates that are supposed to set of jets of flame and wondering what was hitting me as I couldn't see any fire. Another example is I saw a guard with a torch - the end was glowing and the heat wave effect was visible, but no actual flame. This issue is fixed by re-launching the game. Can anyone confirm this? EDIT: Pictured below is the last area in which I noticed the missing fire:

^that was after I re-launched Skyrim and loaded. Before that there was just that pillar rotating, no flame visible (I was trying to figure out what the hell was damaging me).

2) And no-one has confirmed this yet, but it's one of the most annoying bugs I've faced in the game: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1292875-screen-flashing-issues-outside-whiterun/

Found a quest/NPC related bug in "In My Time of Need"--or rather after finishing it. Spoilers!

With this quest, I opted to turn Saadia (the Redguard noblewoman) in to Kematu and the other Alik'r. Everything went off without a hitch and I got my reward from Kematu. Saadia was on the ground outside Whiterun Stables, paralyzed by a spell effect. Kematu walked over to her but, other than that, made no move to leave.

I then packed up and headed out to Riverwood for about two in-game days. When I came back to Whiterun, Kematu was still there, talking about how he wanted to go home...no sign of Saadia.

That is, until I got further up the road toward the gate. Out pops Saadia out of nowhere, wielding a dagger and trying to stab my character's face in. (Perhaps understandably, but still.) My best guess is that the game failed to remove Saadia (and possibly Kematu) from the gameworld before the spell effect on her wore off--possibly this was caused by my leaving the cell for a couple days? No idea. Either way, the paralyzing effect wore off, prompting her to get back up and aggro on my character once I got back within range.

Given there's no mention of this particular quest outcome on the UESP wiki, I'm gonna go ahead and say it's a bug. :P Saadia needs to be removed from the gameworld before she gets back up and gets stabby on the player.

Edited to add: after I killed Saadia, entered Whiterun to sell some loot and then left again, Kematu had finally vanished.

* "No news is good new" - Angeline in Solitude can grant a quest to find her daughter in the Imperial Legion in Whiterun, but Captain Aldis who the player is sent to speak to no longer exists after the Stormcloaks have taken over Whiterun.

Confirmed. Aldis is missing but the mission is still listed and the Quest marker is still there, buried in null-space.

I'm sure I should not be able to train my Archery for free by taking the gold I paid back from Faenlin's inventory after taking him as a follower.
Are there other Trainer/Followers with this exploit?

No matter what setting I'm on - Winterhold College lags from the point of arrival of fast traveling. Going across the bridge is jerky, even though Fraps says I got 30-35fps. The arch-mage room has this jerkiness too, especially looking at the center garden with the mage lights. There is also a pile of bones from some skeleton ended up at the Hall of elements entrance and I cleaned it up (picked them up one by one and threw them off the road), next time I came back, the bones were back on the path and a skull halfway in the floor, I am unable to pick it up. All the mages come out at once through the door, they all walking and kicking over the bones and they pile up front of the door. Oh and also, walking on any skeleton remains is like being hit with an arrow, with a tiny health reduction. It can get annoying, especially in the tombs.

Seperate from the issue with day-change and time of day getting out of sync, some NPCs will never open their stores. The House of Curiosities in Winterhold (Carlixto) and the Mortar and Pestle in Dawn Star are examples of this. In Dawnstar the NPC will sit behind her counter during the appropriate hours but never unlock the store; she will therefore yell at you for tresspassing as your only way to enter is to break in. There appears to be no way to trade with her if this happens.
