All right, one more bug, I swear. This one has to do with arrows. If an arrow lands somewhere besides my character or an NPC--say it misses and hits the ground, and is laying flat on the ground--if I leave the cell where that arrow is, then re-enter it, when I come back the arrow is sticking straight out of the ground at a perfect 90 degree angle. As if whoever shot it was hovering directly above the earth at the time.
This probably happens because the arrow is being placed in a "safe" position when the cell loads. Perhaps the arrow was in the ground and it was placed above the ground to avoid errors. Similar behavior can occur when hagravens have their heads removed - their prone corpse is replaced by a standing, headless version. Freaked me out the first time it happened to me, but having inanimate models of objects or people standing straight up is unfortunately not new with Gamebryo. Apparently, this unpleasant gene was passed down from Gamebryo to the current engine.

I regularly have missing textures, losing heads and hands of NPCs, trees that are purpleish and walls that you can see through. Few instances of being able to walk though ore veins into the void.
Also I didn't get the last word of the shout firebreath, when I read it on its wall, just doesn't appear, but does like enter your soul with that magicical stream.

Also I dislike the fact that many quests cannot be continued if you not finish other quests, like if you do not go to Svongarde in main quest you cannot delliver a letter from Imperial Legion, etc.

I have more frequent CTDs after the the forced using of steam, without it the game is tenfold more stable.

here's a new one:

In one of the generic "fishing" quests for the thieves guild, you are supposed to pickpocket a flawless emerald from Cairine in Markarth. Despite never having pickpocketed her before, I simply get the message "Cairine has already caught you" making it impossible to finish the quest.

A couple more things A lot more problems:
All my horses (I have purchased several in an attempt to fix this) walk back to the last point where they spawned after I get off them. If I fast travel, the horse appears with me, but always returns to the new spot. This makes horses useless as they constantly walk away from me.

I am also encountering arrows sticking straight up out of the ground. It only happens when loading cells outdoors.

The weapon plaque above my bed in my house in Whiterun is partially broken. The right mounted weapon (Ghost Blade) has disappeared, and I can no longer equip new items in its spot. Interestingly I enabled the console to try to enable/disable the plaque and discovered that each part of the plaque (left/right weapons and shield) has a different form id, except there is no form id for the right weapon anymore.

An ancient dragon spawned, but when it died, it's body did not decay and I didn't get a dragon soul. It may have been killed by a giant or a mammoth, things were a little hectic.

Corpses of dragons keep respawning in different places,sometimes partly stuck in the ground.

The corpse of the first dragon you kill near Whiterun is no longer a skeleton. Every time I go outside White run, it is embedded in a different part of the battlements.

This is all I can think of off hand but there's probably more.

Ok, my last post got me thinking, so here are some bugs. I went through my screenshots as well since there are some other oddities I have been capturing.

-I often hear skeleton bones clattering when I fast travel. Sometimes I see them falling around me or suspended in the air.

-Strange pathing behaviour for mammoths. Sometimes they teleport up in the air and then teleport to the ground in a different spot.

-Khajiit and Argonian tails continue to waggle when they are dead.

-Louis Letrush is an interesting guy. I have also encountered him running north on the road out of Riftwhatever

Here's an INTERESTING bug.

Mammoths and horses I have encountered bounce all over the landscape, before settling down on the ground again. Then they jump around some more.

Haven't rode any horses yet, so I will experiment when I do to see if the same happens on mounts. One of the horses did have a rider

Ninja'd.

At Snargelfargel - that's weird, we appear to be having the same bug. In my game it extended to horses as well, and most of the the time they didn't teleport. They bounced.

Probably less bug than doing things in an unexpected order, but if, after you're named Thane if Whiterun, if you marry without ever having talked to Lydia, and have your spouse move into Breezehome, said spouse will not appear until you go back to Dragonsreach and talk to Lydia. At which point, they appear in your home and act as if nothing happened.

Confirmed with Aela the huntress as my spouse

Not sure if it's been mentioned, or if it would be considered a bug, but you cannot place a marker at your "current location".

I'd like to be able to travel to a location on the map, and flag it, for future reference.

I just click the spot and it puts a custom marker.

You only get one marker though. It wants to delete the old one before you place a new one.

It's impossible to become Thane in Riften, because after you get the "Talk to the Jarl of Riften" miscellenaous quest the Jarl just doesn't have the option to speak about making me a Thane. This is all after i completed every possible task in the city. Different people also reported this.

I believe that was in regards to textures not loading.

My Whiterun house's shelves are actually have a similar bug. The top shelf could hold one more book, but anytime i activate the shelf it shows that there is only one book on it, when i exit the shelf screen then all of my placed books just basically disappear and that one remains there... They are not invisible, but removed from existence....
It's annoying as i can't rearrange that shelf anymore..

This just happened:

I was sneaking around a dwarven ruin (mzlft or whatever) and saved the game while in sneak. quit out to go do some other things. when i reloaded the save, i fell, you heard me right, i FELL through 3 floors and landed in some room i had never been to. i did not have tcl enabled either.

Another graphical glitch or screen placement bug:

Smithing tree - I was trying to read what all the perks were down the line and noticed the one at the far upper right cannot be accessed at all. I can't navigate the screen to see that area.

If you marry someone, and they subsequently open a shop selling general goods, it is possible they will not have voice files for saying what they have fore sale (happened with Aela, who had no voice file for saying "oh, various tinkets, odds and ends")

If my current location is landmarked already (by the game), then I can place a marker.

If I'm out in the wilderness, then not.

I'd like to be able to mark a crossroad or something while I'm out venturing. It would be nice if I could just click on myself and place a marker at my location, but that doesn't seem possible out in the hinterlands.

Outside Riften when I approach the city the game starts stuttering and ending with the game freezing. However when I installed the latest nvidia driver (290.36) I no longer get the freeze, but a CTD instead. Stuttering is still there tough. This happens with both the 4GB patch and without, I can get closer to Riften with the 4GB patch though. I also play with uGridsToLoad at 9 and lowering it does not help at all.

I've had a couple of nasty quest bugs that have killed both the Companion radiant quests and the entire Mages College questline. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1289115-first-lessons-quest-bug-and-companion-quest-bug/page__p__19465000__fromsearch__1#entry19465000, but basically the Mages College quest broke on "First Lessons" during the tour. I had started the tour of the college and, not thinking, dismissed Lydia. The college turned hostile toward her (not me), attacking her until she dropped to one knee. The tour NPC went back into the dormitory as if to continue the tour, but she stopped in the second floor stairwell, and now just does "waiting" animations in that area, and can't be talked to (she says "we can talk after I finish showing you around" or something like that). This prevents me from moving on to the new step of the quest, and therefore kills the entire quest line (as well as the Gauder's amulet quest, since Saarthul can't be accessed without the Mages College quest line).

I also have an "escaped convict" radiant quest from the Companions that can't be completed. I traveled to the area marked on the map, only to have the quest marker disappear. I scoured the entire area, but found nothing. I'm assuming something else must have killed the convict, but this means I can't finish the quest, and therefore cannot get anymore Companion quests. I'd luckily finished the main quests for them, but now I cannot find the other Totems of Hircine.
