I'm not sure where you're getting this gemstone thing from lol
Bottom of the Imperial sword, really looks good with a gemstone there.

Gems would be cool I think. Honestly the more the merrier as far as crafting goes.
Ruby encrusted Dragonbone, sounds like a GRRM creation.

Diamond Frost Troll Silver Cuirass.

The main problem I had with the Imperial swords is that the vanilla textures.... absolutely svck! I had to work the hell out of them just to make something I could say I'm happy with.

The one thing that I LOVE about this mod, is that when fully done with the armors, it will make role playing races much more interesting. I mean, a Wood Elf would be able to only us Elvin swords, or Nords only Nord Swords and so on. Hell, you could even go so far with the mod, so each race only has there races weapons designee by default, and to get any more, you would need to buy designee 'res apiece' from blacksmiths.

XD

EDIT: Just looked at those picks. Fuvk me, those look awesome. The wooden handles really set them off. XD

I also figured out a way to use the actual Daedra Heart object texture as the source of the red texturing on my Daedric swords.

But I still have to go back and re-do the basic and nordic swords. They look like turd in comparison to my new Imperial and breton swords!

Well. If I manage to do them without starting over I'm going to move on to the Elven & Dwemer styles and then think about Orcish, Ebony & Daedric styles.

Looks good.

Will the Breton sword have gem stones in its recipe?

Yes. Here is one of them...

It uses gemstones in the crossguard and at the bottom of the handle.

Think of this this way. You have plenty of time to mine up metal and gemstones! Don't ignore, gold, silver or corundum either!

I just realized how much you'll be helping players solve their "Too much gold" problem!
Gemstones will now probably be bought more often from vendors, especially the rarer ones that you've deemed to use.
:foodndrink: :celebration:

Edit: Also a pat on the back and a thumbs up for this: ;)

For-real this time.

Yeah. Buying up gemstones on my character has kept my gold pretty steady

Just remember, everytime you are tempted to revisit swords over and over that eventually you will have to release something or it will never come out. Besides, there are also axes and blunt weapons out there (ignoring your eventual wish to look at armors too). Looking good though.

Is this compatible with Val's Crafting and/or Lost art of the Blacksmith?
