Dawnguard and Future DLC Discussion - Thread #19

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 3:32 pm

So Dawnguards been announced, what about all the smaller, optional DLC to improve the existing game that they said was coming? Any word about that? Will that come after Dawnguard?
Oh yeah D: i forget about that,You mean the one thing they talked about when they announced kinect? the thing people forget about and just complained about kinect?

Since they're waiting until E3 to properly unveil it, this has to be a pretty substantial DLC. On par with Shivering Isles?
Shivering Isles was the big one, everything else paled in comparison. If they are going to do a fair few, maybe Point Lookout isn't such a bad place to start hypothesising.

Blackreach and the Falmers probably.

I would be giddy if it included the Falmers and the wonderful Blackreach.

May I ask when E3 is? Ignorant Aussie over here hardly knows anything about it ;)
Thanks! Can't wait - all of that speculation was correct after all!

I'm perfectly fine with what we got. Gives them plenty of stuff to show off at E3.
As for this whole 360 exclusive for the first month... Doesn't bother me at all. As a PC player I have PLENTY of mods (being made everyday by the wonderful community) to keep me entertained. One little month is nothing.

Keep up the good work Bethesda and keep making the kind of games I love to put hundreds to hours into. C:

Feed the carrot to the donkey, you don't get led to the market, I suppose.
Ha! I suppose you're right.

Still, you gather everyone in the room for a surprise and unveil a known title.

Then everyone laughs and goes, "Ha ! Good one. No, really...what's the surprise? Come on I'm dying to know. So, tell us"

You also have to remember the team is bigger now and they'll be spending more time on these DLC rather than the small ones like they did with Oblivion. Last I heard we can expect something like 3 DLC. So I'm guessing something in between PL and SI.

It was a clip of the Sinfield episode where George pitches the concept of a new show about "nothing". Someone took that clip and captioned it to be discussing the DLC for Skyrim.

I'm sure someone will remake it. You don't just let classic parody, like that die.

"Nobody thought they were real, but I've seen them.

The Eyes of the Snow Elves!

The Dwarves thought they took them from the Falmer, but they themselves were fooled. A statue, built in secerecy by the slaves, the eyes burn into you, and I see them even now. S'raffa escaped through the collapsing tunnel, but he'll never escape what we've seen. Men will never believe him, and he'll be driven mad by the knowledge that he'll never see them again. But I may yet see them again before I die."

Probably good considering we have gone through over 1,000+ posts in a few short hours based on one picture and a name.
