He is talking about the light behind the Dragonborn.

Vampires eyes look just like http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090917002541/starwars/images/7/70/Vader_yelloweyes.jpg in Skyrim. They look nothing like the Dragonborn.

And plus people keep saying the Falmer's eyes glow. Aside from the fact the Falmer are blind, I do not recall the eyes glowing at all.

IMHO, I think it has something to do with more lyncthropy like Werebears, Weresharks, Werecrocodiles, Weredeadroths, Werevultures. Werelions, and Wereboars.

Yay my thread is opened!

I bet the arrows on his back represent crossbows in the game and the glowing eyes represent the new vampire stuff, now what represents the snow elves...?
I've been saying this.
There's white on the picture.

White obviously means snow.

Snow elves.
My skin is white but that a'int mean i'm from Alaska.

I think by now it's obvious that it's most likely about the Volkihar vampires. gotta say I'm dissapointed if that turns out to be the case. never really cared for TES vampirism

Nor do some people care about dragons, but hey, Bethesda has to make money.

I actually like some of the deeper vampire stuff in other games and books, it's just that in TES they are done in such a weird and inpractical way like getting stronger by starving and weaker by feeding. not to mention lack of intriguing organizations and clans.

I wouldn't get my hopes up, Beth have never released a DLC that expands on much in the base game.

With a possible addition of a new vampire clan which can be the opposite of the ones we have, they can redeem vampires in the Elder Scrolls. It just has to have the right story, and gameplay.

A religious(evil, I think) faction known as the Vigilantes of Stendarr to appeal to the vampire-haters.

The Order or Sanguinare Vampiris clan(ones we currently have) vs the Volkihar(new vampire clan true to lore).

Those just don't look like vampire eyes to me. They're too bright, in the past they have always been red and dark.

Those eyes just look grey, not the same color as the ones in the Dawnguard picture.

I was referencing that fact that he said they had always been red and dark. Not specifically related to Dawnguard.

Oh my bad, that also proofs your point because that means the Dragonborn in the picture could be a new strain of vampirism.

They are arrows, just as you said, not bolts. And what makes you this is about vampires.

If people didn't care for dragons it wouldn't have made Game of the Year.

That picture of the vampire and werewolf look really cool, but the vampire would get owned fast.

I think Pre-mushroom Snow Elves had glowing/bright eyes, hence the
Spoiler
crystal Eyes of the Falmer from the Princes statue in Irkingthand during the Thieves guild questline.

I really hope it isn't vampires. They've been just about as overdone in fantasy as dragons. Let's have a unique concept for a change.

I suppose I was too general with my last comment, but to my recollection when I have looked at my vampiric characters in third person they have had red eyes. Either way the eyes in the image look like something entirely different to me. (Of course that could mean different vampires I suppose)

What could be other explanations of glowing eyes? I still wonder if it could be a reference to The Eyes of the Falmer.

the "Falmer Eyes" are two gems you get from a thieve's guild quest. not literal falmer Eyes
i hope the Lycanthropy stuff s added in a DLC (if it's this one or another, thats fine, i just hope its added in one of the DLCs. preferably Dawnguard)

Guys why would the DB be a Vamp in a Promo Poster? next to no significant information can be gleamed from that aside from one He aged, two his eyes are glowing, three he uses arrows now. and of course the name of the Expansion pack(Thats wishful thinking ;p)DLC is called Dawnguard.

Vamp eyes don't glow in Skyrim, DB wouldn't be Vamp because not everyone is a Vamp with their DB's no? Being a Nord is a given so don't comeatmebro ;D.

True, but they've also never gutted the guild questlines like they have in Skyrim. I don't think it would be practical for them to just insert new quests into old questlines, but I would really like to see some new guilds in future DLC.
