I am a PC player. Always have been, always will be. I've been an avid ES fan since Morrowind. I've purchased every addon pack and DLC, for Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout and NV. With great anticipation, I've been eagerly awaiting the first DLC for Skyrim (which is, by far, Bethesda's greatest game to date). I couldn't wait to get back to Skyrim, to get lost in the story and adventure, and share tales of those adventures with friends over a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I've read or heard EVERYTHING about Dawnguard from friends and (unmarked) spoilers around town and across the web before I've even had a chance to purchase it. I feel that the fun is already gone. I'm very dissatisfied with how Bethesda treats the people who made them the gaming giants they have become. Way to forget the little people...
I just want Bethesda to realize what they've done to their longest and best customers. Think of it as Ford saying "We have this super awesome new sports car. Look how awesome it is! But, only Japan is going to get it this year. Next year, when it's not as cool, America can have them too."
@badantjoka4k - Thank you for giving someone else's insight. Your lack of thought made a world of difference.
I'm so lost. Let me try to sort through this madness.
Ok, perhaps we're all misunderstanding why you're angry at Bethesda. Your first post assumes that you're very upset with Bethesda because you heard things from friends and read things on the internet that possibly ruined your ability to enjoy Dawnguard. Although you didn't quite say it, your other post that I quoted seems to point in the direction that you're angry because the PC doesn't get the DLC until 30 days after Xbox.
I think our confusion comes in where your friends must have Xbox's and you play on the PC, they have already played the DLC and you were listening while they were discussing things about it. So this is what makes you mad that Bethesda hasn't released the DLC on the PC yet. Your little stint about the car sales in the second quoted post leads me to believe that this is indeed why you're mad. If this is so, you should have clarified.
If this is correct then perhaps you should've worded and explained yourself and situation a little more clearly. If I'm entirely wrong, just ignore me trying to make sense out of your madness and you sir are absolutely nuts for complaining about reading/hearing spoilers and blaming Bethesda. Also if I'm wrong you should recieve a beat down for giving me a headache trying to sort through all of this nonsense.
