Yes, the PC players have been so forgotten by Bethesda. It's not like they have access to console commands and the CK to edit/fix the [censored] out of their game. Seriously. One [censored] month. svck it up.

People should be more patient, I agree. But everyone who keeps saying 'one month' or '30 days' is just delusional.

Bethesda agreed to a business transaction with Microsoft for 30 days exclusive. They took the money in this highly competitive entertainment industry, those gluttons!

They are indeed gluttonous because this thought process must have gone through their heads:

"Will the loss of sales from disgruntled pc and ps3 users be less than what microsoft is willing to pay us?"

And their suits decided that yes, it would be less, so they took the money. If that's not gluttony, I don't know what is.

All is said.
Sadly.
Perhaps Bethesda need some polish mentality as we're so far from the economical empathy of a studio like CD Projekt.

I personally like the Witcher and The Witcher 2 Enhanced edition. CD Projekt is a good company. Off topic, but the story, characters, and consequences are far more compelling than SKyrim...

If PC and PS3 players refuse to buy the dlc because it came out for xbox earlier than they are short-sighted. It would be the same number as those complaining about bugs that will be mostly fixed by the time these whiners get it

No it's not gluttony, it's business plain and simple. The sooner folks realize and get over this the better. The whole game could have been PC only or PC and Xbox only like it was back before PS3, I for one am fine with their business practices.

Why would they care about "loss of sales from disgruntled pc and ps3 users"? Last time I checked, there was no massive exodus of PS3 and PC fans burning their TES games and vowing to never buy from Bethesda again. Oh you mean the really small group of people who are upset enough to complain about how an industry works because they're too idealistic or willfully ignorant to understand that a corporation they like might make decisions based on income every now and then?

You guys got the short end of the stick, and that's unfortunate, but if a man offers me a $100 raise if I only sell Pepsi in my store for a month, I'm only selling Pepsi in my store for a month.

Terrible anology. A better one would be a car manufacturer that would sell a new, state of the art onboard computer for their flagship car, but only to the customers that bought the diesel version.

Another terrible anology. More like a corporation that makes popular games, getting paid a lot more to sell their new product exclusively to a certain group for 30 days before releasing it to the rest of the market.

A reminder to the PS3 players.....
Oblivion and Morrowind where PC and Xbox exclusive. Then Beth thought it would bring in more money to include you PS owners, so if I were you guys I`d think myself lucky that I even get to play an TES game ( if it wasn`t as buggy as it is ). It`s just a 30 day exclusive, you guys ( PS3 and PC ) only have 11-12 more days of waiting be patient.

Because they never, it was only out on Xbox and PC. PS3 never got Oblivion until a year or more ( I don't remember just how long ) after it was released on Xbox and PC. And before any one jumps on me, Arena and Daggerfall where PC only, then Morrowind was ported to Xbox.

This is, by all logical reasoning, completely wrong.

Give or take a week just in case a patch has to be released along with your copy of DG. What is with all the downers? Why look at the cup as half empty, why not half full? If everything goes well and nothing " major " comes up PC and PS should get DG within 11-12 days. Geeessssss, by.

I never complained about the 30 day exclusive, I'm used to X box getting everything.

Well we don't get everything, PS still has exclusives just like Xbox has exclusives. It's the way the game is played.

Optimism is cute, isn't it? It will be at least 2 months between the release of DG on Xbox and the other platforms.

That doesn't bother me at all, because I'm still not convinced I even want it.

lol... 2 months is kinda overestimating it don't you think? It can still release anytime from July 26 to the end of August. There is such a thing as a last minute announcement, they don't have to warn you a month in advance*.

Business is business. I wonder how many people would refuse if Microsoft stuck a big ass check in front of you and told you that you can have it if you just HELD content for some exclusive period of time before releasing it to the rest. Do people not understand that money talks?

anyways if you are going to enter the DLC's forum and declare you wont be getting it, then why dont you go to the forum of every game in existence that you wont get and make a thread?

I had some godawful training thing recently, where some dude held up £150 to symbolise a potential bonus, and asked how far we'd go for it.

Apparently I was the only one who would run through a busy supermarket in my boxers for it. Hell, I'd do it AND sing 'lover boy' by queen. I luff money :D

Exactly the kind of criticism I was expecting on a forum. Guess what, kids! this was directed toward Bethesda, not you. Go feel high and mighty somewhere else.

And here we go. I was waiting for the pointless platform flamewar :flamethrower:

I wasn't starting a flame war I was stating a fact... Console gaming was around before PC gaming was serious... The first console was the Magnavox Oddness which came out in 1972 with pong.
