Bethesda released Skryim in a buggy state, why would they worry about the release state of a $20 dlc?

They already did.

So then they haven't been silent, and are being asked to repeat themselves. Better?

I am very hopeful that Dawnguard will be released soon for PS3. I love skyrim. I have been hearing a lot of "30 days after xbox 360 release date"

Quick question about the game......do i still get to keep my character that i worked so hard to build up?

Will i still get all of my normal spells?

You don't need to start a new toon to begin Dawnguard. If you take the DG side then you can make a new toon to try the vampire side and if you go the fanger way first then you make a new toon to try the DG side

Thanks!

No problem, I have 3 different play throughs. A werewolf / vampire hunter, vampire lord out to destroy the sun, and a Imperial who's left the legion to join the DG to stop the fangers( a nice squishy human to make thing difficult ).

no,no,no look they said ''xbox has 30 days exclusive'' so it could be 30 days for us or 130 days theres no guarantee

I honestly dont think that they are going to wait long. They will have a lot of angry PC/PS3 users who will stop buying Bethseda products.

i ve start hating microsoft alot more why wold you do such a thing it doesnt do anything then pissing people off but for some reason they keep doing it :(
Ahem, Sony does this too. Battlefield 3? Assasins Creed 3? Far Cry 3? You seem to be only looking at one side of the problem...

Except that it's only a week between release dates for Battlefield 3, plus Premium negates that entirely by getting DLC even earlier.
Lol so if Sony does it for 1 week it's acceptable but if Microsoft does if for 3 or 4 weeks its a travesty? You do realize how stupid that sounds right?

Entire DLC has already been spoiled for me by now, no sense in getting it anymore. Good marketing scheme, Bethesda. You just lost my $20.

I was hyped for Dawnguard since I love monstrous vampires. However, the reviews I've read all pretty much agree that the DLC has a very weak story, some even say it's worse than Skyrim's MQ (How is it possible to have a worse story I do not know). Also, people say that playing as a vampire isn't even that much fun. I am seriously considering not buying Dawnguard, at least not while it's at full price.

Funny thing. If the game would have been released on all platforms simultaneously, I would have impulse bought it immediately, now I might never do it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Bethesda better be getting some major $$ out of Microsoft since I'm sure they've lost a lot of sales with their tactic.

They never existed; I could never play Mario on the megadrive, nor ecco on the SNES. Banjo kazooie was strictly nintendo, the PS2 never saw that era's Doom... Hell things are LESS exclusive now than they ever were, which is why a 30 day wait creates such grief. Even though Sony fork out for COMPLETELY EXCLUSIVE DLC. I like how all the MS DO DIRTY DEALS guys gloss over that bit...

Something else to consider, not to rain on anyones parade, but dawnguard is only out for English regions. It could be that the 30 days doesn't start til it's out for ALL regions. Since Beth doesn't know for sure, or at least hasn't announced, when it's coming to non English Xboxes, they wouldn't know exactly when it'll be released for PC/ps3

Here's my thoughts. Microsoft has a 30-day exclusive contract for Dawnguard. It would make no sense for Bethesda to wait any longer than the 30 days to release it on PC and PS3, because if they do there will be a lot of rage from the PC and PS3 users who will say "Screw this" and not even bother with the DLC, which would cause Bethesda to lose money.

On the other hand, we have not heard anything official on when Dawnguard will be released for PC or PS3. There is a chance that the DLC won't even be released for PC or PS3. I'm thinking we haven't heard anything official yet because Microsoft is in talks with Bethesda on making Dawnguard an X-Box 360 exclusive.
