I'd rather get a slightly buggy game at the end of this month rather than a bug-free game two months from now.

I agree

its not like Skyrim had no bugs at release lol

I'd rather get a slightly buggy game at the end of this month rather than a bug-free game two months from now. It better come out before the calendar hits August because after that, back to school shopping (Bullet to the brain is a preferable alternative) and school applications will ruin the rest of the time.

Agreed, at least for the PC. PS3 might be a different story, but there's no reason for the PC to wait any longer than necessary. We've had unofficial patches since Daggerfall.

As a consumer, I'd rather the company I'm paying actually make a completely functional product before they take my money for it. I understand that these games are big but I think people have given Bethesda too much leeway when it comes their games' bugs. It's one thing for a company to rely on their fanbase to fix the bugs, that's bad enough, but it's really terrible to make a buggy game, have your fanbase fix it, but not enable those fixes on other platforms.

I'm pretty sure Bethesda forgot they developed Skyrim for the PS3, I mean they had no problem shipping a broken game so I wouldn't put it past them.

Yeah, me too! I'm hoping it's still this month, but I doubt it..
doubting it is the best way to not end up disappointed. Trust me fallout 3, new Vegas, had to wait a long while for those games dlc. This game most likely won't be any different.

I'd rather have the game released faster even if it has some bugs. I need it released before my summer vacation ends and I have to go back to school. Otherwise I'll be forced to play it instead of doing my homework and my grades will suffer and my parents will be angry at Bethesda

This sounds horrible, just the entire storyline, I hope their reasoning for this is that they have their best devs working on Fallout 4.

I can't stand the contoller and i'm not going to pay for the online services. So i'll stay with sony

This^ I actually own both platforms, but I prefer the PS3 to the extent that my XBOX is boxed up in a closet. There are plenty of games out there for it, so rather than EVER putting out my XBOX, I will just play something else. I'm not having any problems with Skyrim and I love it, but when it gets to the point where I'm done and no DLC has come out, I will simply buy another game. I think Microsoft thinks that these exclusive deals will make people switch platforms, but i don't believe it. They will just switch games.

Sadly I've seen anecdotal evidence to the contrary. I just find that a horrendous waste of money 0.o

The only explanation for the PS3 release overrunning the 30 day thing is that there are severe problems with it. Do we want a working product or not?

My version of Skyrim wasn't broken. I've had it since last Christmas and it's been playing fine. Same thing happened with Fallout 3 and New Vegas

The only reason I can fathom is that under the terms of the 30-day exclusivity they may actually be forbidden from stating an official release date for the other platforms before the 30 day period is over.

Maybe they can't. Maybe it's in the contract they made with Microsoft, that they can't say anything about the other versions before the exclusivity period ends.

Ah, ninja'd :pinch:

no,no,no look they said ''xbox has 30 days exclusive'' so it could be 30 days for us or 130 days theres no guarantee
That makes no sense... 30 day exclusive means at the end of that 30 days the DLC will be available to PS3 and PC users. That's what 30 day exclusive always means.

i want to put this out there again a lot of people are saying that it will be out 30 days after the xbox realese there are even topics that says the same but look if they were going to put it after 30 days they would tell us right but no one is reply to us that makes think of ''sh*t we are going to wait alot'' and theres fu*kin 150 posts in this topic now but ST?LL bethesda doesnt give a fu*k thank you bethesda thank you for nothing :(

Ever consider they have encountered severe problems with the PC and/or PS3 versions, and therefore they don't actually know whether it will be fit for release on time or not? I'm sure that as soon as they have something concrete to tell you all, they will put it out there.

I mean, what would be the use of them saying 'dunno'?

Do we have any proof that it was a 30 day exclusive? I wouldn't be surprised if it was, but during my googling on the Dead Money DLC(the only one which was an exclusive), and I could only find the term "timed exclusive," or just "exclusive," I can't find anything that specified it as 30 days in the same way that Dawnguard was specified as a 30 day exclusive.

Interesting note, by the way: the date for the PC/PS3 release of Dead Money was announced about 3 weeks ahead of time, a bit over a month after the 360 release. My guess is that they can't talk about the other versions until the 30 days are up, and it'll be announced in early August for around August 26th. This [censored] svcks.
