Dawnguard PS3 and PC Release Date [merged similar topics]

If only the crapbox didnt exist we wouldnt have this problem. Playing ANYTHING on a console over a PC is like having six with 10 layers of condems on.

On the flipside, when the gaming rig develops a problem, HEADACHE TIME. As I've said elsewhere, I've been through 3 PCs in the time my console has lasted me. I am death to PCs :D

Here:
http://orcz.com/Skyrim:_Dawnguard

it says "scheduled to be released for the PC and PS3 30 days after [xbox 360 version]"

So the possible dates as I see them are:

July 24th (if we include June 26 from starting point). This is a tuesday. Many games come out often on a tuesday, so its a good bet

July 25th (IF we dont include June 26 for 30 days count)

July 26th (Thursday)

July 27th (This is a friday. Skyrim came out Nov 11, 2011 which is also a friday. So this is also a good potential bet)

based on the above I think either Jul 24 or Jul 27 will mark the release of Dawnguard for PC and PS3. But it could also be 25th or 26th.

thoughts?

Misha from Ar Tonelico. A in-game sprite model.

And no, I'm not optimistic that it'll be this month, and I have learned well this year, to not have high expectations of Bethesda.

Just Googled that... The Yin-Yang's in her hair look a lot like pokeballs in your avatar picture, hence the confusion. I'll need to look the game up, see if it seems like a game I'd like.

The reason I switched to consoles, I have both, 360 and PS3 was because of constant problems getting games running on PC, drivers used to "drive" me insane. A game wouldn't work with this graphics card drivers or the sound wouldn't work with my sound card drivers, every freakin' game had one or more issues. Now the consoles are going the same way as the PC only worse... I say worse because you can't change a damn thing with consoles, you're stuck with what they give you. With PC's you at least still have the option of changing the drivers, changing ini settings and other tweaks in order to attempt to get a game running.

What adds insult to injury with consoles is you have to pay in most cases £10 or more extra over the PC version for the privalige of, in a lot of cases, what boils down to beta testing a game for bugs.

Do you guys seriously want this dlc exactly 30 days later? Do you really? Because I don't know about you all, but I'd rather have waited for a non - "laundry list of bugs" dlc that we have now. I really hope that these problems get fixed soon, because I don't want to have to avoid these forums like the plague if y'all get this dlc and have the same problems we have now.

I would MUCH rather have it as soon as possible. Literally every single issue I've seen people mention could be fixed in seconds with console commands.

I have to admit though, because of the exclusivity I've really lost my hype for dawnguard. I even may wait until the price drops down a lot. It made me realize that I have other games to play in my spare time :)

Console commands can't fix broken dialog, and broken mods, which the DLC WILL undoubtedly do when it comes out. Along with some other nasty bugs. This is the main reason why I'm not eager to play it like most of the PC players.
