Is Dawnguard really worth $20?

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 2:06 pm

I am trying to make up my mind. I was expecting it to be something like $10, since it appears to be around the level of content as Knights of the Nine...

People have spent 40 hours on it.

Then people need to learn how to fast travel and they must be taught you can actually run in the game.. or use a horse..

i'd assume its better than Knights of Nine.. Since Knights of Nine to me was horrible..

I loved it, even with all of the bugs but no. No, it is not anywhere near worth 1/3 of the price for the full game.

Not shivering Isles.. Shivering Isles is probably triple dawnguard..

and to be honest.. Bethesda is a scammer.. Whoever prices their stuff is in another dimension I bet half the time.. Bethesda made people pay for Horse Armor... What does that tell you..

Shivering Isles was better than Oblivion itself.. Oblivion was 50 dollars..

CD project would deliver a bigger add on for like a 5 dollars..

Nice logic. Use this one: 1/10 (i'm being modest) the content of vanilla Skyrim, 1/3 the price :stare:

Whatt ist that for an argument, the average gameplay time is an other, i mean it's mainly just one story and a few other content, I have read some people spen 2000 hours in Skyrim, what does this say? You can look 5 hours at a tree if you want.

Yup, I can attest to this. I have spent over 40 hours across two playthroughs. There is about 15-20 hours of main faction quests and then another 3-5 hours of side quests and extras.

In my opinion, it is definitely worth the 20 dollars.
