Gah, bloodmoon and shivering isles were great, and from what I'm hearing, this is pretty good too! Thumbs up for bethesda

It is definitely one of the better add-ons IMO. Just some minor gripes but that's mostly personal preferences (forced third person is my "major" complaint).

I think the vampire and werewolf perk trees will be wasted on many gamers that don't care about such fantastical creatures. I would have preferred to see new skills that could potentially be useful for all archetypes, such as a new spell school. Maybe in Hearthfire, but I doubt it.

Bloodmoon and Shivering Isles were full expansion packs, not 'DLC', so they don't count. I think my favourite Bethesda produced DLC is Dead Money for Fallout: NV. my favourite Bethesda developed DLC is probably The Pitt for Fallout 3. I've no idea what Dawnguard is like because I'm on PC. Is it DLC or an expansion?

Guys im sorry, I have changed my mind. I wrote this before I finished the dlc. The ending was rushed and really bad it has turned me off the dlc. You cant even upgrade the strongholds. Most of the npcs in faction dont even realise your the leader. Its skyrims base guilds all over again.

I was expecting content after being the leader since I thought this would be the chance bethesda had to show us a skyrim guild that wasnt rushed due to deadlines, Yet sadly this dlc was still rushed at the end and you get the same feeling as you do when you beat skyrim main quest and collede of winterhold faction.

AGAIN FOR THE FINAL TIME BETHESDA NEVER ACTUALLY SAID YOU COULD UPGRADE THE FORTS, THAT WAS NOTHING BUT A RUMOR.

No, no he did not, I've yet to see an article or interview yet where he said that and the fact that nobody has corrected me yet with actual evidence from a creditable source further proves that he didn't.

Ok he did say it but just to note "tricking out" and "upgrading" can mean two different things, there are plenty of weapon racks and display cases in both houses that can be used to trick out the appearance.

Lol BS, He meant upgrading. You can tell by the tone of his voice. They prob had to cut the upgrades due to deadlines.

No, not really his tone didn't imply upgrading, I don't even know how a tone can imply such a thing and even so its nothing really game breaking since both housings have a decent amount of safe containers, both have alchemy and enchanting labs and weapon racks.

The dlc was clearly rushed. You can tell by the endings.

The endings are fine also in case you haven't noticed, the ending for Oblivion, SI and KoTN were really rushed too.

KotN was one of the best endings. You got your whole team praising you. Theres basicslly alittle party outside and a final speech. Thats perfect.

Dawnguard endings were horrible "GG harkon is dead, No one gives a fig"

Your point? The vampires don't care because most of the court didn't really care who was at the head, just as long as there was enough food and they could still live in the castle where as the dawnguard cared they just prefer focusing on their hunting.

Not everything you do should get a pat on the back and have everyone going "YOU'RE MY HERO" I personally like the fact that no one cared and Harkon wasn't much a threat without the Dovahkiin on his side.

Wrong, Theres those 2 vampires who want to overthrow harkon for the throne and even send henchmen to kill you in first quest. What do they say when harkon is dead? Nothing. They act as if you havnt finished the questline. The dlc was rushed.
