I prefer the red slit without the bat face as it will be difficult try to woo serana with an ugly face like that.
she had no problem with molag bal...

I'm wondering if it just randomizes what your vampire will look like. red slit, no red slit, bat face, no bat face...

People have the bat face? Players not NPCs.
she had no problem with molag bal...

Well we don't know what he appeared as. According to the story of Lamae, Bal appeared as a human if I remember it correctly.

You can't woo her anyway, I tested it. She will refuse to marry you.

Maybe if you cure yourself, change you skin tone and complexion and get infected from Serena again it will be less noticeable.

The only time i saw it was when i was a vampire on my Nord temporarily, i was standing in a darkish light when i saw it but i assumed it was a streak of blood slipping down our chin.. with some of the blood obviously ontop of our lip aswell..

I like the red line, anything better than a human/mortal face is good, I wish for bat-like face npcs have.

My character hasn't changed at all apart from my eyes now glow. I'm a dark elf with the palest skin you can get, although i haven't slept so maybe i wont change until i sleep.

Anyone else have pictures they could post? I would like to see this because some of the other pictures people have posted make it hard to see the line.

True, but if someone can get the right angle, the picture doesn't have to be perfect.

Just tried my Female Imperial, no makeup/tint on the face at all, third lightest skin tone. Big red line from chin to nose, and her skin is nice and tan now. I'd post a link, but I'm not allowed to yet.

Really strange that this is considered vampirism.

My Altmer is literally UNCHANGED by Vampirism, which I find very, very strange. He literally looks exactly the same before and after, except for his eyes.

Kind of hard to see my character's face in the second picture, but yeah. I made a Nord Female character who's appearance changed SO drastically that she didn't even look the same after contracting the disease from Harkon. However, my Male Altmer looks EXACTLY the same except for his eyes. What gives? Why is it so inconsistent? Some of my character's turn ugly and deformed, and others are unhindered. I'm not sure what's up with that.

He's got it, Virtuosus. It's just the beard which is covering it from being completely obvious.

That dark line you see going from his nose downwards existed before he was a Vampire, trust me. He doesn't have it. I've only been able to replicate the red slit on a Nord Female so far, her lips turned entirely red as well, which was very annoying.

Luckily, my only two vamp characters, being my Khajiit and Altmer, both look surprisingly good as Vampires. Oddly enough, my Khajiit Vamp also doesn't run into the baldness problems with hoods that other vamps do. (It might be because he's a beast race, but either way, I'm happy.) I just wish my Khajiit's eyes would glow like the rest of the races.

I'm pretty sure they're not bugged, the devs simply didn't add glowing eyes for them and considering they haven't responded to the issue yet, I have a feeling they'll never get glowing eyes.

I don't think they are bugged, i think it could be intentional. But why do beast race vamps have to have glowing eyes like the Man or Elf vamps do? Beast race vamps already have differences, like noticable fangs, that human and elf vamps don't have, so maybe not having glowing eyes is simply because of their biology.

Besides, them not having glowing eyes gives people who like playing a vampire without glowing eyes, a chance to do that.

If you give beast race vamps glowing eyes like the other races, then all there eyes will look the same. So i don't mind how it is now, besides it reminds me of vanilla skyrim ,since in vanilla, not all the vampires eyes were the same.

No offense but I think you're sort of grasping for straws. There's nothing that suggests this because of their biology and even if it was, why would bethesda arbitrarily write it so that beast races dont get one of the features other vampires get (or vise-versa)? Khajiit and argonian aren't even remotely related, seems random to make them have this one identical biological feature with no explanation. I think this is just a case of Occam's Razor, and they it was a time issue, design issue, or bug.

I just want the glowing eyes because I think a khajit vampire with glowing eyes is badass. There are a lot of people with beast vampires that want the glowing eyes. Me thinks the beast races just got the shaft.

You said....

"why would bethesda arbitrarily write it so that beast races dont get one of the features other vampires get"

Isn't that the same for fangs?

Because Man or Elf vamps don't get noticable fangs, so if beast races can get them, then why not the human or elf vamps?
